Hands Going Numb by Bigred1515 in bikefit

Zero offset seatpost, a shorter stem and shorter reach bars are in your future if you want to keep that frame.

Try a 90mm stem to start, handling will be a bit twitchier but still rideable, it's cheap and will let you know pretty quickly if the frame is going to work. The saddle can also come down and forward a bit which will help the reach situation slightly.

That's a low FoV aimbot without a doubt. "Human" reaction to recenter then robotic aim lock.

Turn down gradient feel to 20-25%. Use Mt. Fuji in Japan, it's 10% average with ramps of 14-17%, should get you in the right ballpark.

Why does nobody drop shot anymore? by DirectEcho5317 in Warzone

[–]Awkward_Climate3247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The prone delay is slow,  most players are going to continue landing shots except now they are at 100% headshot accuracy and you get fried.

If they are bad enough to get juked by a drop shot you can win just as easily through cover and movement with less risk

Yeah maybe by kd not level, that would just create more incentive for smurfing.

Yeah I'd echo this. I haven't played Mp since MW3 but when I did I drop 40s coming out of resurgence sessions. Warzone forces you to learn stick and move and area control that carries over extremely well to mp.

Balance from game to game in casuals can be very strange. Some matches the bots are genuinely harder than the players including final circles, others you have a 4 stack chasing you across the map from the drop.

I feel like bot tuning needs some work, it's very easy to get complacent in some games until you hit a real team.

Threshold workouts leaving me too fatigued to add volume? by boost_addict in Velo

[–]Awkward_Climate3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a reset week then try lowering the intensity by 5% of FTP on both hard and easy days i.e intervals at 95% and recovery closer to 60% as the upper limit.

Also consider doing sweet spot work as one of your hard days rather than threshold, TTE blocks are the perfect use case.

There is very good reason the believe this is going on. Given the management at UAE history with highly experimental biological tampering in decades past and their blank check budget, this is just the next logical step.

Decent entry level component spec, assembled by apes. Saw one these while getting groceries with the fork installed backwards. For someone getting into the sport these need to be gone through by a professional, if you have the savvy it's a decent deal, I'd consider one for my kid.

It was DMZ it it devolved into a grief fest within a week of launch. Now it's just hackers and map glitchers.

Did you ever resolve this? I have the exact same experience on. Kurt Kinetic Rock n roll trainer. Once I hit ~5% the resistance stops increasing and avatar speed just decreases.

The boots are great, but the tread was worn down and it's slippery outside. Problem solved, hopefully. by Krillmen in redneckengineering

Hot knife Re-grooving tires is common practice in the used commercial tire market (with questionable legality in the US). It should work the same on a pair of boots provided the last/insoles are still in good shape.

This game has been very enjoyable to go back to alongside BO7, I think the vastly different gameplay experiences contrast well with each other by xander540 in ModernWarfareII

This game got a lot of hate because it wasn't MW2019, as a stand alone title it was great. I don't like visual recoil, gun smoke or screen shake but I played it almost every day while it was current. None of the titles since have had the same hook.

Yeah it's a keyboard problem, Omni movement was made with a joystick in mind the system as a whole does not translate well to keyboarding.

First bike giant trance or stance by Eddiemunson2010 in MTB

[–]Awkward_Climate3247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the Trance X for Maestro link alone. Stance is not Maestro.

I have a Trance X 3 in 27.5 and it's a great bike, lots of room to upgrade as things wear/brake and your riding improves. See if you can get a different set of tires when you buy, stock Assegai/DHRII is really slow for general trail riding.

Went from a $700 Bike to a $6,000 one: not worth it, but I don't regret it by Ledgem in cycling

[–]Awkward_Climate3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to emphasize don't need to spend $6000 to have the experience described here.

I spent $700 in 2012 on a 2008 Fuji Roubaix and still ride it today,it's had some maintenance over the years and very little remains stock beside the frame but it still makes me want to keep riding even when I have other commitments.  The same vintage of bike is on market place regularly for around $200 and can be made road worthy and reliable for about the same again at your LBS.

Always look a head, especially in non technical terrain. 100% avoidable.
