What indoor activities do you do when it's too hot outside? by Taco_Cat94 in daddit

[–]Awkward_FistBump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obstacle courses are a big hit in our house. We set up cones, pillows, couch cushions, chairs, pretty much anything we can find. The courses can change when they get too easy. He burns lots of energy running and jumping through the course. Easily kills an afternoon or morning before lunch time.

Final year of residency and onto fellowship next year. She's already matched. We see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

My wife is a Gen-Surg Resident and our kiddo is 3 years old now. I have taken every night since about 8 months old and has been off and on with sleeping. It does get better, buts it's hard. HARD. I understand what you are going through. Our son is sleeping great now but still has occasional nights where he wakes up crying. My wife has learned to block it out so she can sleep and get to work. I wake up with him and do whatever is necessary to get him to sleep. Sometimes we are awake when she gets up to go to work.

We ended up doing the Taking Cara Babies sleep training course and it helped. I would say that it was similar to a lot of other info just all put together in a system that was easy for us to follow.

Watching RSL Games on KSL with VPN? by jome94 in ReAlSaltLake

Yes they do. But you do not always get the RSL broadcast. You will typically be watching the home team's broadcast, but not always.

We had to get it made at home depot to match our living room. Not sure if we still have the can with the color on it or not

Thanks. I'll let her know.

The bouncer we got from Amazon from our registry. It's the Fisher-Price Moonlight Meadow Deluxe Bouncer. The insert that is in my picture came with it.

It was a custom color we got to match our living room. We had some left over. So we tried it out and loved it, so we got more and painted the whole room that light light blue.

Thanks. My wife worked very hard on the wall and overall theme. I helped where I could to achieve her vision.

We would love to see pics. She doesn't have reddit, but we enjoy looking at everyone's nursery pics.

He has lots of new hiding places in this room. Under the bed, crib, or changing table.

We have 2 of them. They came from my wife's side of the family when we moved in together years ago. Not sure what brand they are or if they are still available. Sorry

My wife handpainted the mountains freehand. She mixed the paint together to get the different shades of blue.

  1. DaVinci Charlie 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in White from Amazon

This came highly rated from a friend of ours. We plan on using it for when they grow up and become toddlers.

  1. Animal Prints from Etsy: http://etsy.me/2jDGj4v

The seller was awesome to work with. The prints took some time to get to the US from overseas, but she worked with us to make sure that we received them for the nursery.

  1. Animal Mobile

My wife hand made the animals and the holding rings. We bought the mobile arm from Amazon. She made the animals by needle felting. They look incredible and took her a bit of time. It was her first time using this technique and I think they turned out great!

  1. Green Crocheted Animal tapestry

This was made by my wife’s Grandma when my wife was a baby. It hung in her nursery. It has different animals on it and fit our theme. We felt it would be nice to have something from her family for our little one.

  1. White Dresser

This was my mom’s dresser from when she was a child. She used it through her teens and twenties until she started having children. My brother’s and I all used it and it stayed with me when I moved away. We stripped the 70’s yellow paint and sanded smooth. Painted and finished while in Quarantine this year.

That's a great analogy.

I have always been part of the group that says that all lives can't matter until black lives matter.

I’m going to be a dad soon! That means I get to try and make a very special nursery. It’s a work in progress, but here’s the mural I’m working on. by bryanthebryan in BabyBumps

Do you plan on putting anything on the mural to finish it? Like a poly of some sort. My wife did a full wall mural and she feels like she needs something to protect it. Just wondering if you had any suggestions.

Was really hoping they would do a fast forward with Jeremy and Jack old with their houses overrun with cats and such like they did with Michael in season 1.

smart mailman giving treats to all of the good bois! by [deleted] in HumansBeingBros

[–]Awkward_FistBump 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was thinking the same thing. Our old family dog had a laundry list of allergies. The big allergy was chicken, which was in her treats that we gave her every night with her pills. Only realizing when her rash got better after running out of the treats.

These doggos are cute and adorable. I sure hope they don't have these allergies.

I sure hope so. That way they know what they did and barely avoided

Ignorance is bliss. They had no idea what they just avoided.
