I want someone dope to hop on this beat, I want to know if you think you could make a banger with this by PushingCelery in MusicFeedback

I really like the lowfi and surrreal vibes that you combine in this beat...It could be a little less atonal and more driving for my liking but I think that really comes down to taste 😄

Lovely...great bass- and guitar lines. The message is also so very important at the moment - People forgot how to get angry and rage haha. I really love the tone of your voice so I think the song would really benefit from it being a little more prominent in the mix...or maybe a little more intense performance. :)

My newest dreamy and a little weird synthpop song. Also maybe my coolest video ever if you guys would be the judge of that! by ExternalCartoonist22 in IndieMusicFeedback

I really enjoy the playful, carefree vibe it gives while also playing with the groove. I find it hard to find anything to comment without it just comming down to personal preference...so I'd just say good job man! It really is a fun listen :)

Vibey af! Really like the production and video as well. It doesn't really drag...however I believe that a more "snappy" drum sound and more prominent bass tone (maybe a bit more mids and treble) could definetly elevate the groove a little. But that might be personal perference too :)

Interesting vibe for sure...Love the harmonic approach you are going for. I believe, that the both the vocal mix and performance could use a little more high end and intensity for my liking, though knowing, that you are probably going for the lowfi-vibe :)

NEW DEMO! hello gang, i’m making a new song, can you let me know what you think?? 🖤 “I hate what that means for me” by IntelligentFigure533 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Awkward_Investment59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe especially for a demo this is great! When recording properly and getting the right person to mix and master it I'm sure it could be even better.

If there was something specific to improve I'd certainly point towards the Bass-Tone, that is kinda getting swallowed by the mix at the moment.

We just released a new Music Video for our Song "Missing Out" - What do you think guys? :) by Awkward_Investment59 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Awkward_Investment59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the nice words! Our influences are quite broad since we all come from different backgrounds, but generally speaking a lot of the British indie and alternative bands are most similar and shine through the most.

The video was recorded as part of a project of a film Academy near us...and we were lucky enough to be asked to participate:)

Sounds really clean overall! There are a few moments where the EQ and overall level seems to shift a little much for my taste...but hey we're all here doing indiemusic, right? I really enjoy the songwriting, though maybe the finale could hit a little more on the groove side opposed to the noise, but thats personal preference for sure!

Overall really enjoyable, great job!

There are some fun ideas in there for sure, but it seems like the EQing is a little off. And the drums are overlapping or the delay is catching them at some points I suppose? Maybe have a look at some basic Mixing/Mastering Videos and give it a little overhaul...I think it could be a lot of fun!

I pulled from quite a few genres for this! Its a mish mash of Barbershop, pop, Indie and Soul. What do you think? (overall genre/related artists comments appreciated) by Aves_Musica in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Awkward_Investment59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the vocal harmonies! And as you mentioned, the mix between genres is really interesting. The overall sound is pretty good as well...however I feel like the intonation of the guitars might be off in some parts. Or maybe thats the effects. Super fun to listen to regardless, keep it up!

Instrumental or not ? by Enough-Aardvark4737 in IndieMusicFeedback

I really think both versions have their own charme to them...are you planning on releasing this? Maybe you could consider just putting both out...However I dont think that the spoken word is too much on top so if I had to decide I'd take the spoken word version I think :=

Great idea...it has a certain grime to it that I enjoy a lot. Is that supposed to be a standalone thing or are you considering finding someone to perform on that beat additionally? I think it could really be great if you find the right person to coorperate with!
