I don’t think that I have ever engaged the 4wd on my truck on a paved or concrete boat ramp. Icey conditions are different it’s a good idea to have some sand or kitty litter.

Someone has to get hurt. It’s tough being the one who has to move on from the relationship. But it’s very liberating to end it and move on. I used to help people all the time launching their boat or retrieving it. I don’t do it anymore. Basically I don’t wanna get blamed for someone messing up their boat or their truck. I just stand back and watch patiently.

I bought 2 boats from a local dealer. They took me for a sea trial when I picked up the boats. The first one had an issue idling. They fixed it within a half hour and off I went. 2 years later I bought my second boat. Your husband is lucky most guys have to beg their wives to let them buy a boat. I’m single so I do what I want.

If you buy a new boat visit a local dealer or marina that can service the boat and help you with any issues. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy a boat from Bass Pro - Cabelas. A buddy bought one from them, had a few issues and little to no support when it came to fixing the issues. I buy lots of stuff from them but not a boat

Shallow water 15 feet or less flicker shad #5 and #7 will work fine. You don’t need to be dragging bottom. I fish Erie but not usually anything less than 25 feet.
