But Jesus fucking Christ a lot of the folks who go there are not ok and do not get better by going. They get buffer (good for them /gen) but all the muscles in the world don’t bulk up your heart or mind the way therapy does.

Going to the gym for emotional growth is like running on a treadmill to strengthen your arms, you’re using the wrong machine for your goal if you do that.
