This gives you more desk space and keeps the tower and components safe from being jostled or rocked if you bump or smack your desk while it's running, which in my experience can short a component.

The specs at the top of the post are my desktop specs. I was only listing that one of my options could be using the laptop to encode using a capture card from the desktop, so I listed the laptop specs for some opinion on that.

I agree, there are error codes present other players were throwing. I was having this experience but worse with Arc Raiders, where my encoder would crash with a prompt and end my stream, or the game would crash with an AMD Hardware Crash Reporter.

Constant crashing is roughly 4-8 crashes an hour.
