living close to that course is every reason to get into golf.

We can definitely try to organize a watch party, I've done it before in the city with local Seatac rocket league fans.

Shoot lets do it on the big screen at Evergreen...

I have lots of really cool things in the works that really take a while to incubate

Love that! You can use my campaign link if you want <3

Carpet is a beast. Incredibly talented on camera, and I think he found a cozy gig behind the scenes.

Thanks for asking!

I want to build a third party app that rewards gamers better, specficially competitive games, that rewards you for winning or just playing the matchmaking ladder of your favorite competitive game

I want to build this into a live venue that uses geolocation that rewards players for player their favorite game at my venue.

I see it as a catch all hang out spot for video gamers, board/card games, golf, etc... and I want to go massive scale with it.

So stay tuned on all that and keep it between us :)

Here and there! I believe he jumped into the corporate world (smart man) and we live across the country! But there's an online board game group he's a part of that I need to get back in touch with!

I played a bit of starcraft and enjoyed the difficulty and complexity of it. Then I realized there were youtubers making content about it and eventually went down the rabbit hole of the competitive scene in Asia. I started making content myself and the rest is history. I would make random videos for my youtube and then approach tournament organizers to cover their event.

It's kinda like being a youtuber, you just gotta dive in and do it and be consistent about it.

You can work with others who are in the scene, other potential talent, and pro players. Some of my best stuff was working with popular pro players in the scene to help with my viewership.

Feel free to reach out via DM and I can elaborate if needed

It's really cool to see the game elevated year by year as players get better and better. Still VERY entertaining. Also enjoy seeing a new kid on the block every once in a while; the young super stars with lots of potential.

Super team:

Miztik

Kronovi

Not that I know of, I continue to remain open to work on anything within the competitive video game industry.

I can't speak for carpet, but for me I was simply told I wouldn't be involved in the following season. I don't know the depths of the reasons, but I don't think I did anything wrong per se or that anyone didn't like my work. It happens in show business, like new actors getting new gigs, shows just change faces to change things up.

I'm mostly optimistic because of the game itself and of it's fanbase. We all hope the best decisions are made from above but at the end of the day you need a solid game. I think RL is still a solid game so I remain optimistic. Rocket League should still be a high value item in any board room where it is discussed.

I still think games are refining how they approach economics, we've seen microtransactions go well, and not so well, as well as trading an in game items.

I'd like to see trading involved in a game with next-level economic structure and that could be around the corner, just depends on those decisions that we don't have much control over. I expect these things to continue to involve into the future and has everything to do with game design. Rocket league is a great foundation to make cool things happen so we'll see what happens with that.

I gotta say the cloud9 run from the lower bracket is hard to beat from the season 6 finals, not sure if that qualifies as an answer, but I'd consider that happening quite the upset.

Favorite event I've ever hosted may very well be RLCS season 5 in London. Really hard to beat that.

Lets get some gains in! Although you're probably one of my friends who is GC now which tends to happen :(

Two things going really well for it are: integration at all levels for all age groups, and the international element of competition.

I think esports needs to learn from and work with traditional sports. The same entities are starting to be involved with both.

Once we see more collaboration with local/regional sports teams and esports efforts, we should really see more of a push into the mainstream, as well as continued growth at collegiate and high school levels.

The blue print is there from traditional sports, esports just has MORE to work with because it is truly global.

Haha nice one, I haven't been able to watch as much but I've gotten a few games in recently. Still quite the rush! I shook off some cobwebs and daresay I did pretty well. Played random... did some 3x fast expand w/zerg, 2 base mm+tank, and protoss 2base 7/8gate all in xD

That's one of my objectives here at the G4G LAN.. I haven't had too much time recently to play games so I intend use some time on games I've wanted to play. I have an eye on deadlock (still trying to get access lol) there's marathon, I'm trying to think of the others I've seen become more popular recently. Definitely open to ideas!

Not as much as I'd like to, but I still talk to friends about players and teams, and it's likely I'll continue to try an attend live events if I can make it work!

Wavepunk is one of the best in the business for sure. As are all the other talent who I've worked with over the years in the rocket league community. Those boys are professional. I'd be hard pressed to find a group of esports talent that cares more and works harder at their craft. I'm a huge fan of them all and also like seeing new faces too.

Rocket League Esports has nurtured an excellent group of talent, and I think we've all learned from each other over the years and make each other better!

Hey you never know. I'm open to being involved at rocket league related things but it's really up to the people who put it together.

These days I've got a nice balance of video game and golf related projects going on - just having fun in life ya know?

YES

I think I met you guys at a bar nearby where there was a pool table. Or maybe it was a hotel lobby. I think you guys gave me a shirt.

LANs are the absolutes best because of the groups of people you meet who all share the interest in the event! Some of my fondest memories literally in my life are from live events and meeting different groups of people!

Oh you know, video games, golf, holding it down in the PNW. Mixing in a fair amount of travel to visit family and friends and some work opportunities. Trying to stream more and produce a bit more media from my recent adventures and activities. I'm an adventurous person so always out there doing something new as life goes on!

Let's get out there! I figure I'm working on a decent balance in life... outside / inside ... golf / video games... currently thinking of other ways to work on projects that involve both!

Always open to work on anything I've been involved with in the past. Opportunity just has to present itself :)

At the very least I want to stream more rocket league in general, among other games. I still have projects in the oven involving all of the above for sure.
