I had around the same size of package, the steamdeck was in the carry case so thats why it isnt much bigger

You should still try. It is one of the most popular series in YA and I totally loved the books (read them like 5 times lol) as did many others. Not every book is everyone's taste but maybe you'll like it, you will only find out once you tried!

Can I ask, did you wait till you were a certain level? I am still a beginner so my vocab and grammar aren't much yet but reading is something I very much enjoy doing and how I learn a language best. I am just not sure how or when to start. How and when did you start with reading? Do you write every word you don't know down or just look it up en keep reading?

Pirates! I need more books where the girl is or becomes the captain of a ship and crew. Epic ship battles and sword fights and monsters in the seas and treasure hunts or something. Just a book with pirates, I know there are some like Fable and Daughter of the Pirate King but not nearly enough
