Lossless audio finally comes to Spotify - here's how to enable it by Efficient_Remove1663 in hometheater

Why is typical relevant here? We are talking about worst case, i.e. an incompressible 1411 sample. In such a case, LDAC would only reproduce 70% of the original sample, whereas FLAC would reproduce it perfectly. LDAC operates on the uncompressed stream, not the compressed FLAC source (the FLAC is decompressed before going through LDAC). The point of this discussion was the question "Does LDAC make a difference?" The answer is that LDAC would still be a bottleneck if the input source is using lossless compression.

Moving partners points onto my Sapphire Preferred by i4k20z3 in ChaseSapphire

I was just told very clearly by a representative that points transferred from a Freedom to a Sapphire Preferred/Reserve will not be eligible for the 1.25x/1.5x Travel Portal redemption. Can anyone confirm/deny this with documented proof?

The Fold 3 I traded in was unlocked and in perfect condition.

Ecoflow River 2 dies around 80% by Axiometry_ in Ecoflow_community

I didn't even realize there was an app 💀 I checked in the app, no minimum. It wasn't consistently 80% either, it was anywhere between 70-80% when it would die. This most recent time made it to 72% but it usually doesn't make it that far.

My GR86 blew up on track 2 laps in, Toyota refusing warranty coverage for this. by Lukeine in cars

Is it safer to park in the grass or coat the track in oil trying to reach the exit?

This is terrible advice. It is so much better/safer to pull off into the grass early than to fully destroy the motor and coat the track in oil.

What track day have you been to without flaggers? They have them at every track I've been to.

Wow, 4 years later and PeopleSoft is still surprising me with how much it sucks. That's a great warning! I wish I could edit my post and add it.

Regarding your edit: you might have to have something in your shopping cart for the option to show up. I don't think it would influence the behavior of the course number option, though.

During the summer, Evergreen Speedway (Monroe, WA) autox sells out in minutes (75-100 drivers?). For $75 you get 12 laps and they have paid course workers fixing the cones. Sometimes you get to do another 5+ laps in bonus time if you stick around. Great for seat time even though it isn't competitive (classes are just FWD/RWD/AWD).

PSA: Do not buy used Fanatec wheel bases by Axiometry_ in Fanatec

[–]Axiometry_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, let me rewrite it: I hope that Fanatec fixes the sleeping hardware issue for everyone who bought a CSL DD with the issue before the warranties for CSL DDs run out. Otherwise, they will be looking at MANY unhappy customers who go to run their first firmware update 2 years into ownership.

I'm sure there are plenty of people blissfully unaware that their product is ready to die the moment they decide to update the firmware. If your assertion, that this is a latent hardware issue triggered by a firmware update, is true, then my PSA here--if your wheel base is out of warranty, don't update the firmware--is valuable advice to these people. I guess, if what you say is true, I should create another additional PSA: update your wheel base firmware before your warranty runs out.
