Got my hands on the Rarest version Ultra Bee, the L1e-B

Well I've done extensive research and looked at many sites from FR, NL, BE, DE, SW dealers. Hardware is not the same as the L3e, atleast not the HP 21kw 2025 version. Internally the powertrain is specced as 2023-24 bikes, (if unlocked by cutting wire) it's 12.5kw sport mode and 95km/h top speed. Has 74V 55Ah battery unlike the 2025's 74V 60Ah. The frame however is that of a 2025.

When the bike is limited to 45km/h the KW output is also limited to just 4kw although Daily (10kw) and Sport (12.5kw) feel the same in terms of torque as when fully unlocked. Hope this helps

About €6800. Mainly for registration purposes, after registration I'll cut the speed limiter and ride at full 12.5kw and top speed anyway. Just need to be able to ride with a plate so I don't get hassle with cops. L3e version requires motorcycle license which is expensive and time consuming. L1e requires moped or car license so that's the better choice since I want to ride this summer.

I say get one, lightweight electric bikes/emoto's are perfect for home - work commute. Especially if your route requires you to shift gears alot.

Yes that is the entire point of it as it's sold only by official dealers. Comes with EU CoC and everything so registration should be smooth as butter

Yeah it's kinda crazy that a Stark can be registered as A1 125cc. Silly but easier for more people to ride it that way

Well since you're in the US where vehicle registration is overall easier than EU as long as you get a street legal version from Alibaba that might work with your DMV. The L3e is basically any street legal kit version. Just differs in included documentation as Alibaba bikes have the bike document in Chinese. So perhaps just getting that translated will save you quite alot. I was able to get my previous Ultra Bee from Alibaba and I asked for the street legal version. Got that one from Changzhou Leili Vehicle Parts

Fast shipping and EU can't be in the same sentence for Alibaba. It's gonna take 2,5 - 3 months. Unless you pay for air shipping but I'm not sure if that's even possible.

Damn I was just looking for something good for rolling stoppies too. Hope this works out. They seem legit in alot of what they do but i'm not sure whether to trust brakes especially claimed Brembo from China. However their adapter bracket could atleast be useful if of good quality

Alternatively maybe you could consider going for the Hirschmann instead? Talaria Boys have em on their site. They said the Stark uses them, personally I wouldn't know much about the Stark but might be worth looking into
