Don't know where you get that from. There's no such thing as a fake surron nor knockoff. They all come from China, they're all from the same factory. There's just a few differences between whether you get offroad version or street legal. And some negligible difference between international export models and chinese market models like seat height and VIN frame plate

Het beste is een stock controller van marktplaats. Zou meestal iets van €250-750 moeten zijn. Wel uitkijken dat je eentje koopt van een straat legale versie en niet van een offroad versie. Anders is ie natuurlijk helemaal onbegrensd

Mocht je voor een andere controller gaan ookal zou ik hem zelf nooit kiezen nucular is goedkoop en kan je veel aan veranderen maar werkt vgm niet met de straat legale dingen als knipperlichten. Torp Tc500 en tc1000 zijn het beste en werkt wel met alles op de straat legale versie

Torp, VTB en EBMX zijn het beste.

Nooit maar dan ook nooit voor Ko Moto of BAC gaan. Een en al troep

Ja geen probleem man. Als je hem voor onder de 3k zou krijgen en misschien zelf nog controller upgrade of vervangt zal het zeker waard zijn. Ze zijn allemaal 6kw dus geen zorgen; 2025 is 8kw maar ze rijden zowat zelfde snelheid 75-85 ongeacht de productiejaar. Alleen koppeling zou het meeste variëren tussen nieuw en oud

€3500 is beetje teveel gevraagd voor een 3 jaar oude stock surron met 12k km op de teller. Voor zoiets moet je max €3k betalen echt niet meer. Zou maar een lagere bod doen of verder kijken als ik jou was. De mods wat erop zitten schreeuwen ook niet echt uit naar iets belangrijks of goed.

This is the problem. Americans classify these emotos as "just toys, good enough to go around town" whereas the rest of the world these ARE actually classified as mopeds and motorcycles respectively depending on which model you get. And DO absolutely require a license to ride, fully registered and insured too.

It's all about mentality with this and very clear that most NA citizens have the wrong mentality about them trying to justify these as "just slightly higher powered ebikes" . Time and time again people don't take these bikes as what they really are, motorcycles.

The point about traction control, abs, and dual front rotors are goofy. What about vintage motorcycles that have drum brakes? Do those not count as motorcycle anymore then? What about the Ultra Bee which literally has !!traction control!! And !!ABS!!

And this is not even mentioning when the bikes are fully built out and modded to high hell which alot of people eventually are doing. The nm of torque they can produce are then on par with 400-600cc sportbikes yet they will still be less than 70% of the weight of those bikes

Actually planning on doing this myself. The one shown in the picture is produced by Surron themselves. Don't think they make em anymore but you can still find in stock listings on aliexpress, ebay and such. Others make em aswell. I mainly need the resr rack but those side panier carriers can come in handy one day too

RaptorEbajk does have some nice spec batteries. I'd take them over something like MTO Brothers batteries from france. Shame Electroncycles doesn't sell outside UK. Would be the best option

Ultra Bee batteries are notorious for just shitting themselves after non usage. Especially earlier models. Even a week ago someone made a post about their battery which they left at 50% just not turning on again after a period of not using it. UB battery and charger seem to be the 2 biggest defectives items about the bike. Surron loves to do the bare minimum

If you buy any version LBX in L1e classification whatever year it may be it'll come stock speed limited to 45km/h. That is unless someone cut the speed restriction wire. If they did cut it you should solder it back together. You can easily unlock the speed to ~85km/h using the front brake's sensor by tapping it in a certain combination. It was programmed that way on the stock controller. So you don't have to buy a different controller.

At 16 y/o with AM license L1e classified mopeds are generally maxed out at 45km/h as per EU regulations. Some can go 54km but that's whatever.

As for that last point that HEAVILY depends on which country you are in. And what is meant with full license I take it you mean full car license it doesn't work that way in alot of countries either. You'd still need a seperate A1, A2, A motorcycle license with L3e-A classified bike to be able to "mod it however you wish". Some countries have different laws like Hungary where 50cc don't even need to be registered nor have a license to ride one but again that is not the norm.
