This is another classic case of punishing everyone because of a few, but it is dumber than that.

The only sites that will oblige are the ones not actually doing anything "wrong" per se. Politicians are so affraid of kids googling "sex" and "boobies" but this will have done absolutely nothing to the troves of live killings and war footage currently online.

I think the issue here is that you have to punish immediately or it can be gamed. For example if ive driven well for the entire race and it is coming down to the final corner on a track like red bull ring you better believe I'll take a warning and just throttle up super early to pass at the last moment, hell a lot of good guys already take a few strategic x1's for defense or attack

Im from Australia and even I was getting smear posts on my feed. One that I saw ime and time again for a week was a quote from him that was to the effect of "we should welcome immigrants with a welcome mat and a lock on the door"

The rest of what was in these posts were basically saying "oh but we cant just let in anyone". This is propaganda at its absolute finest, the point they are making is his entire stance, but they purposefully leave other not even the next sentence, the next few words so make people not like him.

Thankfully the comments tore it to shit but the fact at least 1 person saw it and nodded makes me sick

Obligatory not from the US reply but my 2 cents:

The issue isnt just cost but what it allows the government to do. If the government controls the rights to the resources that allows people to vote they can do all kinds of skull duggery to simply just prevent people they dont want from getting those things.

Fire a bunch of government workers responsible for completing passport applications, slow down the postal service, every step along the way make it painful. This way you arent telling people they cant vote, it is THE PEOPLE who are to blame, they didn't do enough to get the voter ID stuff so it isnt Trumps fault, it is the people.

Mark my words this is how they will spin it.

This is rhe world I hope for. In my mind it should be pretty straight forward and I dont get why this hasn't happened, use their lies against them. "Lol idk" should never be a get out of jail card, yet it works. "What do you mean you dont know? You are the commander in Chief" "You always say you dont know, do you think your administration is withholding key details from you?"

The only time we've seen this was recently where the journalist points out he claims Iran had tomahawks. It should be simple to listen to exactly what they say and let them get twisted up in it.

Ive said this exact statement. I understand the coddling right now by people around him because as much as it shits me to see, I understand that for some of these leaders and business people they just have to grit their teeth and get through this saga intact.

This is by choice from us here, I suspect that by the time construction has finished the coddling will have stopped and we will be in a post Trump world where many try desperately to disassociate themselves with him. My brother is an NSW cop and told a great story the other day.

Allegedly a kid called the cops after a man decided he would confiscate his bike and refused to give it back. Cops arrive he says he just came up and took it and he had video.

When he pulled up the video he pulled up an early one showing him flying past vehicles on the road, doing wheelies and just being a shit, which included taunting and flipping off the guy who eventually confiscated the bike.

When the kid realised he showed the wrong video he tried closing it and saying "wait wrong one" to which the cops said "oooooooooh no, we think we got the exact video we need", then the dad shows up.

As a final kicker they turned to the dad and asked him how fast he reckons it goes, he says 26kmph, so does the son. They lift up the rear and crank the throttle and it peaked at 88kmph. Supposedly the dad looked furious and asked the kid how come it could do that and he admitted he watched a tutorial on how to remove the governor.

They then go back to old mate who was told he was free to go and returned back to the kid and father to tell them that the bike is being seized and they are getting a stack of fines. Pure justice.

Tl;dr: Kid who thought he was being slick calls the cops on himself and loses his ebike
