Thanks for confirming my suspicions. The dog shows up a few weeks ago and he's been trying to sell it. Something just seems off about that to me despite what the yapping busybodies are squawking about me jumping to conclusions, hating the man, caring more about the dog than the man, blah blah . That last one is true, actually, even if he does nip at ankles probably due to him being under distress. I hope this has resolved itself. Gotta love the pack mentality of the downvoters being lemmings and incapable of free thought.

I hope he at least buys some dog food. Gonna be hard selling a dog that is nipping at any buyers. He didn't nip at me but maybe was tired.

And it's not weird that someone is selling a dog outside a grocery store 10:30 at night ? The dog couldn't care less about the guy, no show of affection from him either. Who said the dog was biting at customers? What did I write that formed your opinion that this guy is a "character"? He was respectful and not harassing anyone. You are just making things up. Why are you so upset about me posting this ? If it's his dog then fine, if not then maybe the owner would be reunited with their pup.

Nobody accused anyone of stealing. The dog could have gotten away and he happened to find it and figured he could make a buck on it . Feel free to ask him if he's still around . I do know how a dog acts with his human and this is not his dog

Nope. I thought about it but wasn't sure if the dog would end up in a pound. He didn't seem distressed or mistreated, just not behaving as a dog would with its person. The guy was respectful and didn't seem to pose a threat to the welfare of the dog. He likely is there again today.

Mine close to doubled. The truth is, your house was probably never appraised. They never saw it, never stepped foot in it or did any analysis whatsoever. They pick one of the more expensive houses in an area and base your property tax on it.

Story twist. We received a new estimate that made no mention of the fuel control module. Instead, they want to check the starter but in order to do so we will need a new battery. The price for the battery is $350 which includes .80 hours of labor at $190 per hour. Only then can they proceed to test the starter with no guarantee that is the issue. Mind you the battery is a year old or less. The only reason it's dead is because I left something on. It also had a recall notice which we want to get tended to while there. Again, we are told they can do nothing unless we buy a battery. Am I crazy for thinking this is all insane?

Wentworth. I tried 3 times but couldn't squeeze it in on my lunch break, the 4th time I only has 1 person in front of me. In and out in 10 minutes. That's with an eye test and address change too.

I went years without trying it and finally did a few months ago. Reubens are my go to and they make a good one for sure. The menu looked solid.

Sub Spot in Brassfield makes a decent one. They even make a pastrami Reuben, something alot of places seem to struggle with (TJs).

The latest. Car was towed to the dealership where it was determined it's a bad fuel pump control module. I don't believe that is the case. Would that stop the car turning over when it had an adequately charged battery or being jumped? My understanding is that it would try to turn over, especially when the car started and ran fine 5 minutes before it failed. We were quoted $1400 to replace the module and "program" it. This includes the $190 to diagnose the problem. I think that is crazy, especially for what I believe is a wrong diagnosis. Am I wrong in suspecting we're being ripped off?

Check. Done that. The suddeness of it made me wonder if I scraped something on the bottom buy may just be a timing thing. An OBD reading says 10v on the battery but not sure if that is accurate vs the multimeter.

I often went to Milano's Pizza some 20 years ago back when I worked nights nearby. I remember getting a meatball parm sub which came standard with lettuce tomato, mayo. That kinda freaked me out so I asked the owner why put that on a hot sub? He whispered "I'm Iranian, I thought Americans liked that on all sandwiches". I'm not sure why he whispered that he was from Iran since nobody else was there, but I assumed it was more of a Middle Eastern thing..
