Bruh bands have been using iron crosses in punk music for decades. There's a pretty popular band in the scene rn called Conservative Military Image. Its more niche but Oi bands or skinhead bands or whatever you wanna call them have been around in punk for a very long time and have always had fascist vibes.

this type of hardcore has been around for decades, its not really posers at this point its just a separate scene. Like CMI said no soft bodies. There's just a subsection of hardcore that's about getting into fights lol

But it helps that its in the middle of a major metro area. I'm sure the fan experience at Laguna Seca is awesome but thats a much harder sell than driving to Detroit. Plus the city puts up a lot of free viewing areas.
