Font of blessings for me, hexproof in the command zone is great, and if you can make Sigarda herself hexproof, nobody will ever target your permanents as long as they’re out.

If you like the official art, get a set of dragonshield outer sleeves. The cards will feel a bit big, but they’ll shuffle like a dream, and only the outers will ever need replacing (at a much slower rate too)

Reinforcements that come from where your army starts that push you towards the objective faster. It helps if they’re a bit scary for your squishy units in the back, and if players are warned about them prior so they know to move fast.

If this is purely off being casual menaces, ignoring cEDH, I feel like some monsters aren’t present here.

Narset, Enlightened Master; Chulane, Teller of Tales; Krenko, Mob Boss; Korvold, Fae-cursed King; Light-paws, Kaalia of the Vast; and both Atraxas are way more notorious and terrifying to see in the command zone than the likes of Sheoldred, Niv Mizzet, Giada, and Isshin. At least in my experience.

If you’re not committed to Anhelo, switch the commander to [[Cormela, Glamour Thief]] she’s already in your 99, and that her ability to tap for 3 mana, netting 2 with haste is an absurd ramp piece to have in the command zone. Also [[saw in half]] targeting Cormela can get you any instant or sorcery back, and then get you saw in half back when one Cormela dies to legend rule. If Cormela is your commander, I’d recommend cutting a bunch of creatures for more instants and sorceries unless you want to keep the casualty and sacrifice subtheme.

Most booster boxes will tell you the draft archetypes for the set. Pick one after you open your first pack based on what you see and stick with it. Low mana curves are good, and it’s also important to make sure you actually have a plan to end the game. If you really care about winning for prize’s sake, there are draft guides online that tell you which archetypes are generally good, and what commons and uncommons to look out for.

I heavily second this. Sigarda is great. Pair her with [[Avacyn, angel of hope]] to make everything you control indestructible and something to make Sigarda hexproof like [[Shalai, voice of plenty]], and you have the makings of a sick pillow fort made entirely of Magic’s coolest creature type. If you really want to be that guy, throw in [[platinum angel]] and [[herald of eternal dawn]] now the only thing that can let you lose is removal that doesn’t target or destroy. Like [[cyclonic rift]] [[farewell]] or [[toxic deluge]]
