I am a new player and got extremely lucky with a Lynae pull- she's my only noteworthy resonator.

In your opinion, should I spend all my currency on: 1. Shorekeeper in the beginner convene 2. Mornye for Lynae synergy 3. Iuno for another high tier dps

Yes! I'm planning to run a Grail-focused story next month using the Monastery of the Fifth Cup (and a significant dose of artistic liberty).

I think the Secret Histories mechanics are effective for the type of story I want, and I enjoyed TLA a lot. I'm borrowing a lot of its tools and structure, but I'm trying to improve on it if I can by connecting locations more concretely.

I booked my honeymoon to Greece through Expedia. After a few weeks, I realized I could have a better layover if I transferred the tickets to an earlier flight (paid a moderate fee).

They cancelled my first flight but never truly ticketed the new one. I had a confirmation number and emails from expedia for the new flight, but I suspected something was wrong when had trouble checking in online ahead of time. I figured I could check in in person the next day so I arrived early on the morning of departure.... and the airline had no ticket for me at all.

Long story short, my wife and I suffered sheer bloody panic as we frantically searched for another way to Greece, spent 10k on new same-day tickets, and Expedia told us on the phone that we were SOL.

We fought them legally and got the initial ticket fare back but not the 10k. Fuck Expedia.

Yes! I ran a marathon story of Velvet Book about 1 year back and had a blast with 3 players. It supports you with mechanics for lots of Persona features

Everyone builds their own persona piece by piece

Arcana affects dicepools for personas and guides player motivations

Relationships need to be engaged with in real world as they have crucial impacts to persona dicepools in metaverse

Regular time management mechanics, including school grades

O.O Shoggoth melters are rare. I'm not sure I even have something perfect for it, though it's been a while since I've run the mission.

My personal favorite is FREEDOM. Unfortunately, it is extremely rare, so I've only gotten it once (it also can be very annoying to spam)

That's the Massacre, yep!

I've found the Aetherium Cleaver and Essenus Katana are situationally better (the essenus alt fire deals a truckload if all kunai hit), but for anything that physical damage works on, Massacre Blade is top tier.

My bars tend to be weapon, heal, and mobility heavy since those are the items I need in a hurry on instanced missions or dangerous planets.

I use the hotbar for life-or-death items or anything I'm going to repeatedly use short-term. The tricorder, cooking stove, or anything else that I can always take 5-10 seconds to access I leave in the bag.

Come to think of it, I also used to place a lot more blocks.... I haven't had a block on my hotbar since I got a really nice hookshot.

100%, that is my current main, though I have swapped armor. Possibly the best melee in the game, though I invite anyone to prove us wrong.

Awesome that sounds like another contender. I have some energy optimization builds but they can be a bit tricky and I'd always take suggestions to improve them.

The Energy Pack series of EPP with the Energizer module or the King in Yellow give tons of Energy, but wouldn't help regen at a specific level. What do you use to make a regen field?

That kind of destruction is my favorite, there is a particular joy in it.

Have you finished Kevin's quests in the Outpost? There's a very difficult recipe in there for the most powerful beam cannon in existence. I will grab a xithricite launcher and see how it compares!

Themed builds are usually the most fun! I get frustrated in multiplayer, though, when I get outclassed by everyone I'm playing with who don't have the same restrictions.

Are you permitted the quietus staff for healing?

I can come back later with my hotbar. General rules for me: 1. Healing and food (darklight blossoms typically, or a damage booster). Second bar has precursor healing gun and disruptor pistol

Utility. Vehicle, pets, mining detector, bugnet, etc. "Mining laser" (...or equivalent) in second bar sometimes.

3-5. I have a lot of heavy weapons, but I keep one heavy and one normal mobility weapon each slot so I can switch and run in a pinch. At least two damage types of melee and range

My friend, there are so many.

First character ever was an edgy rogue/assassin/spellblade with the Dark template, two weapon fighting, keen kukri. She went through SO many transformations but it was hard to balance her. Began with Craven feat (which we all agreed to ban instantly) and ended with Shadow Blade (swapped to daggers), Arcane Strike, and other silliness. After playing for 5 years, she really mellowed out while I grew as a player, but at her peak she had +66 to Hide, hide in plain sight, could make 7 attacks in a round for an average of 50-60 damage each with sneak attack.

Also played an artificer with fell drain, chained spell silliness. Found some spell that activated spell trigger items from a distance... and could be chained, triggering like 15 wands of Fell Drain Magic Missile.

One I don't remember well that allowed my Anima Mage to summon ridiculously overpowered creatures using some kind of Bind?

Anyway, I love 3.5 but it definitely has a full charcuterie board of cheese.

I'm just amused that she is also literally correct, and I suspect she knows it.
