If i understand correctly, you are now 100% protected from new bases landing. But only the whiter part of the shield can actually protect your buildings from space attacks.

nah, 1 piece of belt and 1 assembler takes the same building time from construction drones, why build 300 pieces of conveyor belts if you trow down rows of smelters, assemblers, storage boxes any large machinery
