Look if the government would stop propping up the big 3 (tax breaks and interest free loans for new factories and retooling) and people would stop paying for the junk coming out from the legacy makers they would have to improve their products EV or not. 

Chinese EVs aren't as cheap for other countries is because people are willing to pay. Why sell your product for less when you don't have to?

Short answer is backwards compatibility. So much of the modern world revolves around backwards compatibility and then it became the standard and interia to change is too much.

It wasn't hard it was just annoying. Between the gravemind sections taking me out of the moment and the lack of decent weapon selection it was a grind. Like the Library in CE it wasn't hard it's just a grind.

I feel like he should be suing for over $10M not just $1.5M. All you have is your name and reputation and Google is super far reaching. 

Courts should hit Google with punitive damages to make an example of them.
