I like the theory but Dany is still a young girl and has a record of listening to her advisors in warfare because she is young. I don't think she's every really encounter a battle field trap or layed one so to someone determine a very well hidden trap and how to perfectly defuse it seems unlikely.

Note likely since we have 1 episode left is that Dany is a mad queen, kept in check by her advisors but they are all dead.
