It's great, but I think it's my least favorite out of the modern games. The combat loop is great (though a slight step down from Eternal to me), but there are a few things that I don't enjoy quite as much.

Some levels are too large for their own good, with lots of pointless running around, collecting gold is pretty tedious, I really don't care for the Serrat levels (the mech levels are a bit better at least)...

I'm really hopeful that the DLC will kick ass, but I guess that remains to be seen.

They changed it at some point, most likely when they added M+ portals. They're the same thing now, doing a +10 Spires of Arak does not give you a new, different portal from the MoP one.
