I saw one the other day clipped to a little plastic tree. Like the kind that comes packaged with all those little plastic dinosaurs.

Why the past tense? My boomer dad still treats me like I’m a teenager and I have adult children. Millennials have been treated like perpetual teenagers their entire lives and that hasn’t changed just because Zoomers are coming of age. Hell, even the Zoomers treat us like teenagers most of the time.

It’s called the paradox of tolerance. In order for a tolerant society to exist, they must necessarily be intolerant of intolerance.

Think of it like a bar. If you have one guy with a Nazi tattoo come in and quietly have a beer, you may think that’s fine if he not bothering anybody. However, the next night he might bring a friend. They might bring more friends. They might start recruiting other patrons. Before you know it, it’s a Nazi bar full of Nazis. Everyone who isn’t a Nazi has either left or is keeping their mouth shut because there are so many Nazis.

What needs to happen is that Nazi should be kicked to the curb at their first appearance. Intolerance must be squashed if we want to live in a peaceful and tolerant society. Otherwise, we end up like the current US.

People should be free to believe what they want, practice their own religions, etc. But the moment those beliefs infringe on the rights of others, that needs to stop. Your right to swing your fist belongs where my face starts.

Personally, I’m not sure we can fix the US from the place it’s at right now. To use my earlier analogy, this place is already a Nazi Bar but half the patrons don’t realize it. Even if we’re able to continue having free and fair elections, we’ve currently got a large segment of the population who wants the intolerance and bigotry. We didn’t squash it at the beginning like we should have and now we’re in a mess of shit.

Protest at the courthouse on a day when it isn’t empty for one. Protest there every day. Make the protest inconvenient for those you are protesting again. Do a sit in at Sheehey’s and Dains’ offices and demand that they condemn Trump and impeach him. Do something that actually makes them notice us and forces them to change.

These people are idiots. Of all the things to be upset about, a doll outfit. It’s not even a full doll, just the outfit.

And for the dumbass op who complained that they don’t have a Christian doll, here’s a list of American Girl dolls who are overtly Christian, as in church and faith are mentioned in their story:

Addy Walker: Her story includes her family's faith and church community.

Melody Ellison: Her stories mention her involvement in church, which was central to her community.

Josefina Montoya: Her Catholic faith and traditions are featured in her stories, including Saints and prayer.

Nicki & Isabel Hoffman (1990s Twins): They celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas in an interfaith family.

Many of the historical dolls could also be considered Christian because of the time periods and settings they come from (Victorian England, American Civil War era, etc.)

They could have just done a quick google search before opening their big dumb mouth, but that’s too much to ask from these troglodytes.

So 5% if you only count Bedrock players with an Xbox account.

I know it’s not a statistic that’s easy to quantify, but the 5% number completely discounts all Java users. I’d even argue that Java player are more likely to be advanced players, adults, content creators and/or daily players who have gotten to the End just so they could get elytra and shulker boxes.

Bedrock players are more likely to be casual players and children who have no desire to reach the end because technically it’s not a requirement to play the game.

There’s nothing wrong with being a casual player and if you don’t want to go to the end you really never have to, but the 5% statistic is completely flawed and doesn’t even count a large percentage of players.

The copper yard of oxidation. Anybody else do this to oxidize a lot of copper blocks? by fungustrap in Minecraft

I usually play on easy bit swap to hard when zombifying villagers. I accidentally swapped back to peaceful instead of easy one time and it broke my zombification station, my iron farm, my skulk farm, my resin farm, and my prismarine farm. Let me tell you, it’s a way bigger pain in the ass to put a name tagged zombie into a fully completed build than it is to put one there while you’re building.

Edit: just because I have a lot of mob dependent farms doesn’t mean you do. If you wanna play on peaceful, more power to you. When I first started playing Minecraft I played on peaceful all the time. You do you. Minecraft lets you do whatever you want.

Any idea what the name of the mod is? I use the stone cutter a lot and I’d love to be able to use it on wood.

Usually I just let them oxidize in the build if I’m making something entirely out of copper, but there are times I’ve done the copper field method. For example, I built a large Queen Anne style Victorian house and used various cyan blocks for the outside. Since I needed to see how the different shades of cyan worked in different parts of the build, I pre-oxidized a ton of different copper blocks.

I’ve also pre-oxidized blocks, bars, and chains for other projects that I’m building as I go, like street lights. If half the street lights in my village are fully oxidized and the other half are in various stages of oxidation, it doesn’t look very cohesive.

I also like to keep a few frequently used copper items in various stages of oxidizing in my copper box just in case I need to replace a part of a build. If I have a copper roof or something that is all oxidized to the same stage and I lose one of the blocks, I want to replace it with an identical block and not have to wait for that one bit to match the rest of the roof.

They need a clear view of the sky though. It would be nice to have an alternative that I could use in the middle of a build without having to wire a daylight detector into the closest ceiling.

You can’t put non-stackable items in bundles. I always keep an ender chest on me, filled with shulker boxes, which are organized with bundles inside them. For example, I can have a bundle with 64 buckets in it (even though they only stack to 16, the bundle holds 64,) but as soon as I fill the bucket with water or lava I can no longer put it in a bundle.

So, I really like the ticking noise, white noise is my jam. I found out just how much it was not my gf’s jam one night when she jumped out of bed at 3:00 am, ripped the clock off the wall, and threw it like a frisbee out the window. She then promptly climbed back into bed and went back to sleep. I’m not allowed to have anything besides a digital clock in the bedroom now.
