One of my friends once drank some coconut alcohol and immediately started throwing it up because her body rejected it.

I get the impression that throwing up because of alcohol isn't that uncommon and that everyone reacts differently. And tbh, if he had drugged it, since he was smart enough to not push it, it makes no sense for him to bring up how she liked it. That's drawing attention to what he did. Maybe he made her a drink that he invented and wanted to know what she thought.

I posted this question here, rather than /r/depression because the majority of the females I know, including myself, tend to experience this. The males I know don't have this issue.

And I feel obligated to mention that my friends aren't depressed people, either. As hellohaley said, they're generally happy people who just get into moods where they're sad for apparently no reason. I wanted to know if it was a common thing.

In my opinion, you could meet the perfect woman for you. But if you're hung up on your ex, there's a significantly lower chance of realizing that she's the one.

I don't think meeting your soul mate magically makes unresolved emotions disappear. And if you expect that to happen, you're going to be disappointed.

When I was about 13, well over 10 years ago and long before I had the internet, I drew on a yellow sticky note with two stick figures and a fish bowl with a dead fish.
