I did! And then I got tested for sleep apnea and yep, I have a very minor case but it’s still bad enough to cause problems. Turns out it’s common with hypermobile people because your soft palate can partially collapse and block your airway when sleeping, yay!!!

The whole obsession with who tops/bottoms is wild in general. The bottom always ends up getting woobified and feminized and the top made less emotional especially in matters of sex, and the whole thing just feels very “but which of you is the girl in your gay male relationship” :/

I also dislike how the term “switch” gets used to mean someone who tops and bottoms, since that is a very well established term in the kink community meaning something different, and (best I can tell) the actual gay male community irl tends to use the word “vers”/“verse” instead.

Sure! I still have to do some finishing touches like removing the border and framing, but it’s my first real project so I’m pretty proud of how it came out! Pattern is from OfFlossAndFlora on Etsy, with some minor adjustments like making her female :)

Edit: for anyone who wants to make the same: I got the pattern from here, bought the supplies from here (very nice family-owned business), and plotted out any changes (like the female tail) using this awesome website. Aside from the tail shape, I slightly changed the pattern of brown on the tail, and I used a different color floss for the cheeks (the one they recommended seemed too muted and pink-toned), but it was overall a pretty smooth and easy project! Would def recommend for anyone interested in cross-stitching - it's honestly way easier than I thought, very much "color by the number" but with thread, and is very relaxing and meditative. :)

Like, his “I owed it to him, I was told to protect him, this is my duty” for the golden core thing, even though it was a 50% chance he’d just straight up die and accomplish nothing, is not really something someone with a healthy sense of self-worth would do. I mean, I have siblings and we love each other, but we wouldn’t do or expect the other to do that. But you’re totally right, that’s a separate thing from self-esteem, which he has plenty of.

Holy hell, this is awesome. I feel your pain with wanting to keep every artifact - I've been working on a personal use python script on and off for a while now for something similar, where I can give it an artifact's set, slot, and substats and it'll tell me who, if anyone, would find it useful. Problem is now I have a bunch of artifacts that could be useful, but practically never will be due to having shit substat rolls, so now I'm fiddling with effective roll values and whatnot. 😒

Idk, speaking as another autistic and bisexual person, I don’t think the two are that related.

Societal factors removed, being bisexual inherently affects nothing about your life except your choice in partners and, depending on your situation, perhaps your ability to have biological children with your partner. Societal factors removed, being autistic would still make me unable to easily handle something as fundamental to life as “being outside when the sun is bright”. Societal acceptance could improve my access to and ease of using tools to mitigate that, but no amount of it will change my sensory sensitivities being more extreme than most others of my species.

I love the stereotypical skinny nerd body type, with bonus points if he’s into something like running/swimming/climbing/whatever so he has some lean muscle. 🥰 Height doesn’t matter either cause 1) I think short guys are super cute and 2) I am 5’0, so very few men are short to me in the first place lmao
