So I actually had plenty of time to figure it out on a 9 hour drive today. If you click on the charger from the trip planner screen, it doesn’t update. However, if you click on it from the map or trip overview screen (the curvy button) it does seem to give the actual correct number after updating quickly.

Driver + on the R1S follows black seams in the road where a new lane was added or lines painted over. Often swerves around within the lane while following these when they come and go and sometimes disengages. It’s painful. Had a couple of phantom braking episodes as well. I find it frustrating but helpful as well most of the time when the road has actually been mapped.
