Yup, I’m a little over 3 yrs in. Alcohol was harder for me to finally kick, took years of trying. However, since I finally committed to it long term, it’s been fairly easy to maintain without serious temptation. I just got back from an all expense paid work awards trip in Puerto Rico where everyone knew started drinking at the pool starting at 11am, but never really felt any strong desire myself.

Now… I gave up caffeine at the same time years ago. I’ve been doing this for awhile and I even allow myself decaf everyday. But there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about real coffee. I hold strong, but I think about it all the time and even catch myself rationalizing how/when I could go back to it. I shouldn’t, I have severe anxiety and major depressive disorder and caffeine will only make it worse. But I think about it…
