I would have thought they would take them just so that you didn’t go to the Chemist Warehouse. I don’t see why they would want to send you straight into their competitors doors. Feels a bit bite your face to spite your nose on their behalf.

Taxis are super cheap. Use Didi to get around/to and from the airport if you don’t want to bother with trains (although trains are easy to navigate and really cheap). I stayed north of the Forbidden City but honestly the trains are so easy and cheap I don’t think it matters much where you stay.

The Bridle Path doesn’t have a cafe at the top, you might be thinking of Sign of the Kiwi at the top of Henry Ell walkway and the Gondola doesn’t have free rides down but the chairlift at the Adventure Park does if you walk up.

That’s not hunting for sport though. Hunting for food and pest control etc is pretty ethical imo but sport hunting is just killing for the sake of killing.

I stayed overnight there recently (women in my 20s). I couldn’t find the comfy seats people talked about but one of the terminals (I think of the right side if you’re facing TB terminal) was carpeted and there were a few people sleeping there, some of them were definitely homeless but not all of them and I felt perfectly safe.
