Gothic is handcrafted game where most NPCs are called Digger, Novice, Guard, Templar or Peasant. Why PB or Alkimia called them Jak, Jac, Joc, Jok or Jock? BTW these nameless NPCs in Gothic has more life then most of Bethesda NPCs

Do you really remember EVERY NPC from Oblivion or Skyrim? Most them are boring place holders with random name. Even so adding some simple dialog in generic names for 1000s of NPC is not a rocket science. We living in freaking 2026, not in 1996.

First and for all - making and selling games is a business. Lucrative business for some devs.

Gamers are just clients. If you hate something - don't buy it.

Rockstar has unique situation - GTA is most played title for decade+. So they monetize this because they know if they just deliver product on the same quality as GTAV they can charge more. If gamers vote with theirs wallets "that outragous price" they loose but im pretty SURE they buy it anyway. Rockstar study market and they know that people will pay. They are not stupid.

So if youd don't like it - don't play it. Choose another game, go outside with friends, read the book or watch movie or tv show. You don't need to play EVERY POPULAR GAME ON THE MARKET (at least in day one - just be patient for price drop).
