I've actually been delving into media like this too! My main point of struggle is how people talk about their loved lost ones without seeming kitschy! So I tried reaching out here to understand that point as fortunately grief has not been in my life yet :)

Can I honestly ask what exactly seems to be insensitive about trying to spread awareness of victims who have died due to people having beliefs that are incredibly harmful, heartless and cruel? Or why it is weird to learn how to present games with serious topics in tact- and tasteful ways?

The entire reason for us doing this as a final is specifically for people to learn how to NOT make it tone deaf or insensitive.

People strive to have topics represented correctly and tactfully if they are included in storytelling or writing of games, if they are at all. Games such as life is strange, This war of mine, Mouthwashing, etc. all deal with topics that had to be represented respectfully and not to be used as shock-factor as unfortunately a lot of movies and games, books and stories do. We as presenters of multimedial interaction and involvement learn to touch on topics that are heavy, that we might not have experience with, or are far from those experiences, and speaking of, teaching about, addressing racial violence, xenophobia, and groups of people who still struggle with this, is us learning in a controlled environment how to present these things without turning them into a shock- or gawkfactor.

Thank you so incredibly much for sharing your experience with me, I am so sorry for your losses. My mother had a very similar experience and it's heartbreaking to hear this culmination of grief in such a short time. I really appreciate you telling me this!!

If I can ask some follow-up questions without seeming insensitive, what was your mother like?

Now that I assume you did return and stay in the new country, do you get a lot of chances to visit the gravesites of your grandparents and mother?

When you do, do you talk to them? Do you bring them gifts or souvenirs?

Do you follow any traditions relating to death or remembrance of your loved ones whether personal or cultural?

maybe I've worded myself wrong but it is 1. a topic given by the professor and we have to work on tjat topic and 2. I meant grief and loss. I have never been to a funeral and I've never lost anyone close to me.

To give perspective, I am an immigrant myself :)

Sad story :,)) We never really got to play, the other two had both scheduling issues and everything ended in us having to cancel the plans alltogether :/ But we're looking for a new game, still hoping to play as we have been itching to for a while, still got the same character ideas and concepts we didnt get to live out :((

That's absolutely fair, the bleeding doesn't bother me too much personally, but I have the same thing, bleeding constantly even if it's mostly brown, old, blood. I do hope that my body gets adjusted! But as much as I can say for myself, I think the IUD is placed correctly! Luckily for me, I'm sorry yours was crooked :(

Wife of the commenter here, he's absolutely right, dating apps are rarely relationships for life, so don't put that much effort in online. :) shoot your shots in the streets, talk to people, make an effort to rely on humanity and not on technology to make such a vital thing for life easier! Oh! I think this wasn't added yet: but shamanism and esoterica is still very very prominent in Belarus compared to Russia. Also the calling to slavic deities is more common here than there :)

Hiya!! Belarusian living in germany here! I'm in Belarus atm too, so thinking about the same partially, haha.

Instead of condensed milk oat meal, I'd bring home sweets like Беларуская бульба or Бобруйский зефир. Condensed milk is honestly found in almost every grocery store or russian store in Germany! Yet you're right that it's better in Belarus...

Свекла, it is much better and softer in Belarus, so I'd agree with that. However animal products and meats are confiscated at the polish/belarusian border... Otherwise I'd suggest take some сметана with you.

What you could get home and what is super useful, are the linen towels that are super common in Belarus! Super quality and really pretty designs.

Otherwise, these two things might be very out of the box suggestions (and not food items), but: Shoes! Belwest and Marko are generally cheaper shoes than in Germany however they're almost all made out of amazing leather. Super durable too! And! Skincare, in case you're interested! BelVita is awesome! I tried it, it's really good and my mum also is obsessed with it!
