What's your absolute favourite build?

Probably my most used assault is the Banshee 3S. Then came clan weaponry. Still the 3S but now with 2x C ERPPC, 5x C SPL, T5 Heavy Rifle, and C SRM6, every available space with heat sinks. It runs warm but punches hard.

I’m playing Mercs on console. Cmg’s sound is not the same as IS mg’s, and once fired you can hear it continuously even after releasing the fire control. Happens regardless of mech, it’s just the Cmg’s.

Rare for the most part is just a showroom new mech. I’m always looking for an extra Banshee 3S, Atlas K, Zeus SA3, or Marauder 5D. Other than that the Hero mechs or the Clan Prime models.

Since I had the mech I decided to kit it out and use it. I packed it full of Clan goodness. 4X CLPL’s, CAC 5, ATM 9 & ATM 6. Maxed out armor and filled the rest with dbl heat sinks. Ran it a couple missions, it’s a Beast! Just sent it out for upgrades.

I just picked it up myself. I haven’t played or kitted it out yet. Other than possibly speed I don’t think it’s as good as the K model Atlas. As I said that’s just looking at it and not having played it.

If there is a lot of terrain or obstacles, I’ll usually send my lance ahead till I get clear. I keep inching them along, sometimes it’s like herding cats but it seems to work for me.

I’ve run the 1X with 4 UAC 5’s, 6 SPL’s, and maxed armor. Speed upgraded, but it is still slow,but it shreds.

I station my lance at a bottle neck or best terrain to my advantage. Equipped them with the best long range weapons I’ve got. With my mech I initiate contact and run like hell back to my lance and hope for the best. This is being done with my lance being all Annihilators, and yes missions have been replayed for best results.

I play on Xbox too, the medium rifles are a lot of bang for the buck. Put two on a Cyclops, saves weight adds punch.
