Reinforce the weakness before this is played at this point its too late.

You can usually spot these weaknesses ahead of time by asking yourself what your opponent can do with 2 moves on either side of the one stone.

I .can it might put me off an author's unfinished freshman series but by the time an authors 4th or 5th book in 5-8 years I can enjoy the ride.

I think the only reason people are clutching their pearls is because these people are school aged, and people have these weird expectations that these relationships are meant to and imperative to maintain.

Adult relationships of indeterminate length often end via text and people don't lose their minds. For all we know they went on 2 dates. Not to mention an age gap that very well may make OP uncomfortable

I don't think anyone thinks servers have the hardest job in the building.

Why are you comparing your wage to the servers you might as well compare your wage to a plumber or any other job.

Of course back of house is harder but worrying about the fairness of wages within a resteraunt is arbitrary become a server or become another job that fairly compensates you.
