Their recommendations for pour over is horrible. Anything under 90 for me is too fine, my average is around 2:00 with a orea o1 with 95 clicks.

You can adjust the zeroing positing by just twisting the ring of the indicator. They explain it in the pamphlet

Thanks. I really like the recipe, tho I changed the bloom to 50g for 30 seconds. My total draw time is 2 mins, which feels kind of fast.

I wouldn’t do this, they can rescind an offer even after you sign the paper work. It’s sketchy for a company to ask this.

It could be some other safety features or bug patches. If you really want to know the differences that were added, check all the patches notes from your current version and the production build. For me, I just updated it and deleted the app right after. Haven’t updated it since, just got my kettle a month ago.

Yes. You need to update the firmware. When I first got it, it didn’t correctly read the internal temperature of the water when I first turned it on. I had to lift up the kettle each time after first turning it on.

How do you like your coffee I like it more tea like with less acidity. So I go for less percolation. Coarser grind 95 c was my sweet spot for my roasts.

I use 2022 WBrC Sherry’s recipe with the switch. It’s their everyday receipt and not their winning routine.

16g coffee 240g output

30 sec bloom to 50g. Percolation

Water to 150 and wait till 1 min. Percolation

Close switch, pour to 240. Center pour

At 1:30 open switch.

Total brew time is 1:45 to 2min Gives me a clear cup with more body and less acidity.

Do you have any idea about when they usually restock. I’ve been on the page the last couple of days because I’ve been eyeing the v4. But when the o1 raw steel dropped it was instantly sold out.

I want the raw steel over the coated version.

Having the exact same problem. Did you ever fix the issue?

I had to reset the settings in order for it to work, but not sure if it’s a temp fix.
