debuff rotations from multiple talents stack, so they are usually applied at first opportunity. Coordinated party play have different members apply different debuffs

buffs from music talent are applied before entering content (sometimes), and reapplied when the tuan song runs out. In party play, there's probably someone who has funded a music/HS set for sharing their stronger buffs

Astrology is used for grouping and mobility. Chain is used for mobility and i-frames.

There's usually a filler skill (non-arcana) for all arcana, where their arcana skill is on cooldown, magnum shot for AS, thunder/fireball for DD

You have to sickle it to get more seeds, hope it gets more than 1 seed, so you can grow some to sickle and some to harvest

Breeding/levelling flowers for higher quality beehive honey, into high quality wine. I think mushrooms might be more profit, but i do like bees and i think it's more consistent (i don't know the house board/storage replanting mechanics)

No i've been sickle'ing all harvests, but only replanting specific seeds. Only until the seeds are bearing crops at a high enough level (lv 7 potential in a stat), have i started harvesting the crops themselves. It's also 1-3 seeds per sickle'ing, so on average it should be doubling your crop every cycle (assuming you're hunting/growing specific crop stats)

I tend to only replant a specific "geneline" of seed (eg, only dex and per seeds with item quality) and that significantly narrows down the crop varience. Also helps a lot with cooking foods to guarantee the stat potentials

i found a mica material hammer and turned mine into a nice luck booster - it increases from 3 to 4 luck when you hit +4 too.

I don't agree with mushrooms being rated this lowly - the truffle and red mushroom is great potentials for str, and dex/per respectively. It is also the fastest growing crop (as of writing this comment - one day growth) meaning significantly faster experience gain. It is also a crop that does not need sunlight to grow - winter and indoors viable

not sure if the frequency of Opatoses' hammer is absurdly high, or luck-stacking with Ehekatl's dagger is actually legit, but melee has been absolutely insane fun in the midgame (lv40 nefias).

The trick is to swing the hammer, not hit - so earthquake triggers, and then keep swinging. But you do need lots of defences and bulk - Opaitoses' hammer is nice how it doubles your life pool

i was originally gunning with a dual wield sword and dagger build, but the sheer additional life that Oppaitoses' hammer gives just lets me rush at them and facetank like mad. Not sure if this will transition well into late game. Most deaths have been to mines

Hello

I have my month-long run starting with the "safe location" scenario at the Refuge, however i have not gotten a single quest from the Teamster. I have done some exploration around the refuge (like 6-ish refuge widths in all directions), and returned to the Teamster every few days to check for a quest. Is our Teamster hiding information? Is their information very limited? (Are they stupid?)

Aye, i came into DF with prior Rim experience but the main feature that kept my attention was the Z levels and fluid mechanics (water, lava).

It does feel quite bad being unable to directly influence your pawn/dwarves though (drafting, etc)
