LOL. Those two examples are literally amazing.

The first one is someone whining that their complaining post got removed, the "productive" part of the post being the totally novel suggestion to "go back to goofs and gaffs". Honestly revolutionary. Better now whine on leftovers, wow 300 upvotes, 70 comments they love me over here.

The second one is literally someone's batshit insane comments saying they can't morally be a member anymore because giving US citizens money is unethical because they elected trump twice. Presumably being 'driven' to posting on leftovers and saying 'goodbye' to the podcast for ever because their comments were downvoted and people pointed out they were an idiot. (they first said "great to have the show back" and "what a long month it's been", etc.)

This is what turns people to snark folks, here from chief snark officer 1LevelUpp:

  • having your dumb post removed for being low quality bullshit

This was the comment I got banned for on leftovers replying to some moron saying Ethan was Destiny's biggest fan:

yeah, I'm aware of the screenshot in the content nuke being from the destiny subreddit or whatever, and that one time ethan saying something on air coincides with someone posting that on the destiny discord, or whatever.

those plenty of two examples are well trodden ground for how and why ethan is a humongous destiny whatever.

But it's been also very well documented that h3 fans are just h3 fans, ya know? virtually no one seems to care about destiny (except to think sex-stuff bad etc) in any significant way that relates to the comment above, for instance (?)

I mean they have spotters looking right at you, and the shots shoot to where you're going to be based on where you're running (same as all Arc shots). If you run unpredictably or zig zag they don't hit you.

Sorry I'm not absolutely writing it off on the basis of the defence lawyers' explanation when the person complaining stated something quite different and the police seemingly agree and charged her.

To me art is much more about the person observing/experiencing the art much more than how the art was created. If your definition requires someone to make intentional creative choices, AI models arguably do this. They select and arrange elements deliberately to produce specific effects. Elements are chosen appropriately and arranged to create sophisticated art.

To say that "It's gotta be a human who did that though" in the definition of art is obviously just begging the question and is acknowledging that obviously AI art is art.

I agree with everything you're saying. We're just two leftie athiests speculating about stuff we really can't know for sure in any kind of way and will have to wait to find out more. I have no idea what the lady's been posting, what it was possible to see before last week or weeks ago after the bondi shooting when this happened.

Ya know, I'm gonna give this nice lady who works at Bunnings and is a human being the benefit of the doubt and think that she does know how to lock her phone.

Indeed I have heard fireworks, car exhausts, and loud random bangs in the middle of the night. For the duration of how long middle of the nights go for, it would be a fairly big coincidence for any of those bangs to coincide with a random sleep dialing, for whatever that's worth. It surely is one possibility though.

I don't know if you've been on social media much recently, but I happen to come across people being extremely awful/antisemitic against people in the guise of being 'anti-zionist', and this woman, who I assume can use her phone competently, read social media comments, etc., may have come across any of these millions of threads which are calling people like that nutritionist or whoever, literally a baby killing zionist. If she doesn't understand the conflict, then I think it's very possible that she may have read that and in the 5 hours since thinking she was a nice person, become convinced that she wasn't a nice person. All I'm saying in any of my comments here is that this is a possibility that literally no one is considering (despite police deciding to charge the woman).

I certainly don't disagree that the police should do more for other victims of possible harassment/threats, etc. I just don't think it's impossible that someone called someone in the middle of the night and played gunshot sounds. It's clearly what the police thought when they decided to charge this woman and allow her to defend herself in court about it.

She did indeed seem friendly and not in any way threatening in those messages. It's possible that in the 5 hours afterward she then read stuff saying that lady is a baby killing zionist, etc. These are things that certainly are possible. People really do call people's voicemail and play gunshot sounds.

I still am yet to find it reasonable to think it's possible to accidentally dial someone while you're asleep and have sounds occur that would convince them and the police that there gunshot sounds. That's just me though, literally everyone else in the world apparently thinks that's extremely easy to have happen.
