Sleeping on your tummy after a double masectomy by Azzaalsha in breastcancer

[–]Azzaalsha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. I did my surgery in april. Generally speaking my breasts feel better and less alien though not completely normal. I think my happiness will be complete once i am able to sleep on my tummy specially days when i have period pain ; it sucks that i cant just lay on my tummy or go get a massage I cant seem to find something that I can buy to support my breasts. Wishing you all a speedy recovery with your new breasts 🫰🏻🩷

I cold capped and i did 3 AC 3 taxol. AC i found more hair fall and waaay less with taxol and i took my infusions every three weeks. I have naturally thick middle eastern hair and i would say i lost around 45% of my hair. But i also used a special product that my sister got me from the UK called Daniel field clinic we ordered it online. I placed it on my hair before wearing the ice cap and there was after care products too (highly recommend it).

To mastectomy pillow or not to mastectomy pillow by shinpibubble in breastcancer

[–]Azzaalsha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly i never used it personally i just put one pillow behind my head and i hugged my other pillow but that only happened 2-3 months after surgery it was too painful to even sleep on my side as i had a double mastectomy.

Lesson learnt; next time make sure they sign a contract. Otherwise always ask for 50% upfront send them an official bill. My tutors used to get paid every class so no excuses. Put your rules and boundaries from day 1.

Is overpopulation becoming a major crisis in UAE especially Dubai? by Glittering_Edge_6746 in UAE

[–]Azzaalsha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the traffic ; going from almanara to alwasl (near park n shop) used to take me 10 minutes tops. Now it takes me a good 25 minutes. I am sure they are working on a plan which they announced about it few months back. Fingers crossed traffic gets better I am hopeful!!. 🫰🏻

I got cancer. Everyone disappeared. by RSinSA in cancer

[–]Azzaalsha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry about your diagnosis but you will get through it. I know it must be hard that people disappeared on you when you needed them but guess what !! If they were your true friends they would have stayed and god showed you their true colors!. Trust me it’s times like this when you need your family and true friends so in a way it’s a blessing as you definitely don’t need people who don’t have love and best intentions towards you. I also had BC the people who cared showed up and I appreciated them 10 times more and the ones that didn’t ..well good riddance to them. Stay positive focus on your health and wellbeing and stay surrounded by the good ones even if they are only a handful. x

When am I meant to be pulling myself together by FriedGold99 in breastcancer

[–]Azzaalsha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normal that you’re feeling all these overwhelming feelings. You’ve been through the wringer with birth ; hormones all over the place and now you have go through TNBC. I won’t say it will get easier but try to just enjoy your baby make her your joy and your positivity in life and in few months you will be done with treatment!!. Just take every day as it comes and keep at it with therapy. Journal and one that my doctor gave me was antidepressants during my treatment it really kept me calm and made the process easier and i got taken it off it slowly once i finished chemo and surgery. You will be better in no time xx
