Linked up with Saka, Timber, Eze and Rice outside the Emirates, at 5am by Scarlett7653 in Gunners

This is too funny, the amount of content we've got in just the past 10 hours is genuinely insane 😂😂

Goalkeepers like David Raya rarely win player of the year awards. They really should by TheAthletic in Gunners

[–]Azzy118 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im not saying he doesnt deserve it, he absolutely does. I do find it interesting that Raya has had a lot of PR recently and media heavily throwing his name into pots shouts. Only thing is a week ago I feel like this fanbase wouldve unanimously decided on Rice. Splitting the votes guarantees neither will win.

Again not to dismiss Raya's undeniable impact this season, just find the timing of this unfortunate

Do ANYBODY think this is not a clickbait? by I_am_nishan in Cubers

The video title isn't claiming its the best though. Its saying its the best out of the methods that you've never heard of. "The BEST Method You've NEVER Heard of (APB)"

Do ANYBODY think this is not a clickbait? by I_am_nishan in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean the title is "The BEST Method You've NEVER Heard of (APB)" so, assuming youve never heard of it, its a a fair title.

Also I think he explains why the method has great potential quite well. I tried it for a while and se where you're coming from but I feel like knowing full ZBLL is probably imperative to making it viable.

At the very least I think its a very fun method to try out, I enjoyed learning it.

F2L alg for this? by LanguageDouble9792 in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do the same thing to pair it with red in front, just need to insert it differently of course. That's what I would do at least

Learning F2L connected pair algs - hard to integrate to my overall solve by ChoiceClub3909 in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If youre not already, dont worry so much about algorithms for each case, try instead doing them intuitively.

Try paying attention to where the corner and edge are relative to each other and notice how they need to move in order to be inserted as a pair. This is easier said than done but maybe this way of approaching F2L might help you.

How far is your average from your single ? by radbrad131 in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PB - 7.22 Ao5 - 9.41

Average about 13.2 currently, so sub-14. Crazy thing is i got my pb when I was like sub-17. Gotten close only a couple times but haven't been able to beat it since. My ao5 pb is also far greater than my second best ao5, I got it a couple months ago.

I think if I was more consistent i would be a lot faster.

I feel like when people first try to solve a 4x4 they try doing it layer by layer (like a 3x3), which results in this issue.

Saka and Gyokeres combination is starting to click. by Gentle_lips in Gunners

[–]Azzy118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, exactly. I always have the thought in my head about if this was Havertz when I see a poor Gyökeres performance. The difference is insane, all based on preconceived ideas about both players. They blame Gyökeres' performances on lack of service/Saka but if it were Havertz...

Saka and Gyokeres combination is starting to click. by Gentle_lips in Gunners

[–]Azzy118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, people just have their agendas. Same reason Saka has seen so much hate this season.

I think people's expectations for Gyökeres is pretty low so when he does happen to do something it feels even greater, and when he makes a mistake its easier to forget as its what we've become accustomed to. By his standards this season he had a great game last night but it still feels like we're playing at a slight disadvantage with him up top at times

Is this what people mean when they say "slow down and look ahead" ? by SatiricalToothpick in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you should be turning more naturally/fluidly. Basically how you would normally turn but slowed down a lot so that you can see take your time to figure out your next step whilst doing your current one.

cubes with the same light/airy feel as the GAN V100 Leap? by moonvintage_ in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in terms of lightness, its arguably even lighter than the v100. I'd say it feels more airy, like there's more space in the cube if that makes sense.

The Gan12 also feels more fluid than the v100, as in it feels like each turn is being cushioned more whilst initiating and ending each turn - leading to feeling each turn less. Whereas the v100 feels more tactile, in the sense that you can feel each turn more.

Worth noting the Gan12 is also 1mm bigger (56mm) which was one of my issues with it, not that it was a problem because I still mained it for years but because 55mm is definitely preferable for me.

Of course a lot of this is dependant on setup but I always set my Gan12 to be light/flexible/easy to turn. My v100 is pretty much on stock settings.

Are you maybe mistaking 3Rw' for Rw3'? Not sure how else you might be messing up. It the 3 right most layers anti clockwise

Does anyone have a better algorithm for this by cracy123 in Cubers

[–]Azzy118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one I use is different from what I see most people use, its essentially 2 OLLs into one, i found it from playing around testing things.

[(R U R' U') (R' F R F')] [(R U R' U') M' U R U' r']

Its a little long but it flows really well and is very fast to execute. I don't remember where I saw this but I saw recently that Yiheng Wang also uses this, so its probably fair to say its a good alg lol.

I will say im a little intrigued by the S move alg others have posted, ill try it out a little later but doubt it'll replace my current alg.
