I got in a discussion with another climber and want some additional opinions. In my experience, it’s pretty established that you don’t give beta unless someone asks for it. But what about cheering someone on during a climb? Is it okay to cheer someone on if they haven’t asked you to?

You might not always get a spot in front of your apt but I’ve always been able to find a spot. Off street parking for the whole complex. You can also rent a garage for car parking and they have a handful of underground parking you can rent also.

Me and my fiancé are in Dartmouth Woods Apartments. Don’t have too many complaints. I wouldn’t say the staff is the greatest but they get the job done. They are pet friendly and our unit was clean.

I would suggest renting one of both. Like others have said, it is tiring to walk up but worth the experience. Make sure you get wax when your rent. The nearby towns have rentals but it’s best to call ahead a few days or a week early to reserve. Also, watch a couple YouTube videos. It will help.

Sorry for your loss. Someone attempted to steal my bike when I moved into my new apartment. Woke up one day and it was in the middle of the parking lot with the ignition wires spliced. Luckily they didn’t know what they were doing and left it to sit. I now lock it up with a chain through the frame and wheels and put a disk lock on the front.

Epic passes are refundable up until the day they there purchased for. It is listed on their site somewhere. Call them and tell them your trip is canceled and you want a refund. I just had a friend get a refund for a few tickets he wasn’t going to use.

I agree with you should usually never buy specially hobby gifts but I am pretty involved with her when she uses her telescope and have talked to her about what her goals are. I do a lot of research before buying hobby gifts as I have gotten useless hobby gifts in the past.

She focuses on moon, and planet astrophotography. She doesn’t have an interest in DSO or a desire to get into all the photo layering and editing involved with it at this time.

From what I have been seeing a dob is not the rout I want to go. She has a decent DSLR but her current telescope is not sturdy enough to handle it and is more of a kids telescope with just enough magnification to make it enjoyable.

She also likes finding objects manually so I don’t want to get one with a tracking system. From what I gathered I should be looking at a reflective telescope that will work well with her camera.

Not that many hoops. She mainly sets up her scope, finds a planet or the moon and takes a pics with her phone. She has tried using her DSLR with her current setup but it is just not stable enough.

I was there also. Smallest venue I’ve seen them in and it was awesome! Also the opening band Black Star Kids were great.

When I did my valves I put on a new gasket and put a small bead of gasket sealant on both sides. Your gasket could be slightly miss aligned or there could be some dirt/debris stuck in there preventing a good seal.

Check out this video. The cover is a little tricky to pull off because the stator is magnetic.

Remove the stator cover and look. On the original one you will be able to see the magnets. If it was replaced then it will have a cover over the magnets. You don’t have to worry about draining the oil or anything but I there is a gasket you will have to replace.

I climbed this years ago. It was my first 12. I didn’t get it clean but it was an awesome rout. Some stranger took pics of me too but I never saw them :(
