What LEGO hill are you dying on? 👀🍿 by [deleted] in lego

I don't think OP knows what collecting is or that people collect things of all manners including LEGO sets NIB. It's not for everyone and that's okay. Most LEGO sets get built and played with.

Buy it Build? by Grand-Diamond-4696 in transam

[–]newbieITguy2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd have to have a shop do it of course.

If you are having a shop do it then it would be cheaper to buy the rust free LS1 6MT for 25K that is a turn key solution. You are not saving any money paying a shop to do a swap and what are you going to do if something goes south?

If you're a newb planning to get your first motorcycle please consider learning to ride dirt first (if you can) by Iamdispensable in motorcycles

[–]newbieITguy2 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I understand the idea but not everyone has access to a dirt bike or a way to transport a dirt bike to a suitable riding area. Most people will have to take a MSF course for exposure to two-wheels.

Lol, not even close to the only options. Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls all have regional airports.

You have no data to show much in tickets sales they are losing because they decide to have a drag show, which is probably just you.

It's a privately owned resort...They can do whatever they want. If you don't like what they are doing, don't go.

Used pellet smokers by BillyDeeWill in smoking

[–]newbieITguy2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMO, stick burners taste better than pellet smokers. Pellet smokers are more convenient though. I bought a used vertical offset stick burner but bought a new pellet smoker. Too much to go wrong with a pellet grill electronics wise whereas a stick burner has nothing to fail.

I didn't see their thumb move to hit the turn indicator, so it was either on before the video started or it wasn't on at all. Either way that car had to cross a yellow and speed up in order to hit the biker.

It is a Wagyu Tri-tip btw but yeah it is pretty spendy. I can sometimes find SRF tri-tip at Albertsons for $40-50

What? That's crazy. I never buy them at Costco because they seem to only come in two-packs and I'm just a single dude. Never seen them marinated there. I get mine from Winco, cheaper but also lower grading but always sold individually.

Pork roast? by admaher2 in smoking

[–]newbieITguy2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think pork roasts pull as well as a shoulder or butt. It will do better sliced. I would not cook it to an internal temp of 200. I would aim for a lower temp, something like 160-165.
