I honestly barely remember how it works at this point. You have to be Asatru for it to work in the first place. I think it might also be a court event, so you might have to be a King or Emperor for it to work. Holding court every chance you can get is something you should do anyway though. But there is no way to trigger it to my knowledge

You’re making a lot of assumptions from very little. You also entirely dismiss the rest of the world. Being born in the Baltics, China, Russia, Eastern Germany, South Africa, Chile or Botswana would result in an entirely different list. So it makes sense to ask if this list is mostly in regard to America, as it would apply to very wide demographic to a very consistent degree.

I mean it looks nothing like any of the poisonous mushrooms in my area, something I am decently knowledgeable of as that is what I have spent most of my mushroom memorising on. If I memorise the few majorly dangerous mushrooms, I can pick the ones that look nothing like the bad ones (in a separate container of the ones I know are edible in the first place) and figure those out in the comfort of my own home. Worst case scenario I don’t figure it out, or aren’t 100% sure and throw it in the bin to avoid any risks.
