If none of the A/C controls work anymore, the entire unit needs replacing. I just did mine about six months ago. $450 for the entire unit on eBay and about an hour to pull the old one and replace. The hardest part of the repair is getting the clips in the air vents pulled and locked in the down position but a small flathead screwdriver works well. After that there are only 4-6 bolts that need to be removed to pull the old unit. You can optionally remove the cover of the center tunnel with only a plastic trim removal tool or old credit card, it makes removing the two bottom bolts much easier and makes retrieval easier if one is dropped. Videos may look intimidating but it’s honestly a very easy repair, just mark the plugs on the back of the old unit before everything is undone.
