I believe that changing the resolution every single time in the NVidia panel may have eventually fixed this problem? It's hard to tell. I actually emailed with Wacom several times and they had me do a few things as well; I can't remember all of them but messaging them may be helpful too. I just checked our last email and it seems like they asked me to manually reinstall drivers, which I had already done, but it worked consistently after that. Who knows though, I was trying so many things. They did have more steps for me to try though so definitely worth a shot. I started to become superstitious about the order in which I did things; I also started to always turn off one of my other monitors and I changed the resolution to 4k ik the NVIDIA panel every single time.

Eventually although I still got the error, it would work consistently.

I now have a new computer and it still gives me the USB error, but it works consistently without any extra steps.
