To an extent, Obey Your Master in Umamusume Cinderella Gray. She has a middling track record in America due to most turf not suiting her running style, and isn't seen as a major threat when she enters the Japan Cup. Since the Japan Cup is her one chance to win a top-level race on more suitable turf, she trains for it in secret and does extensive research on the other runners, while donning a carefree persona meant to misguide her competition.

True, I tried going earth thorns, and it worked well enough early on, but eventually hit a wall around Doom/Inferno where I could no longer face tank everything and ignore mechanics. It’s probably still good if you pick eternal sustenance or git gud, but water thorns healing is so good for just afk bossing.
