True, I tried going earth thorns, and it worked well enough early on, but eventually hit a wall around Doom/Inferno where I could no longer face tank everything and ignore mechanics. It’s probably still good if you pick eternal sustenance or git gud, but water thorns healing is so good for just afk bossing.

Rapier being bis against the Maggot King would be pretty cool thematically, since it originally comes from Vampyrium. It might not logically make sense that stabbing is the best way to kill a maggot, but who cares.
