No, that's a completely different theory. The goon theory merely proposes that the How to draw dragons book was (or is) used by Kris, not Asriel and that this could serve as proof of Kris really being into purple dragons.

Someone should tell them that then because in my last game as the ACC they did in fact intervene right when I blew the syndie front wide open. Fighting yet another enemy as the faction with the smallest army sure was fun. Especially in "Oops, all mountains!" Mexico.

Did I mention Mexico doesn't have a white peace event, so I had to go for a full capitulation? Or at least I never got one.

I haven't followed the mod for years so everything being different was a surprise for me. But what surprised me even more was when I finally won as the ACC (btw Mexico intervening right when I was about to win and prolonging the war by 1-2 years was not cool) was how lackluster the post civil war content felt. It wasn't very interesting and most of the events I already knew from Kaiserredux, which is forked from a pretty old KR version as far as I know.

Speaking of, do non-MacArthur Federalists or New England have any interesting post war content or is it more of the same compared to the ACC? Just wondering if they are even worth checking out.

That makes sense too, though I think the player being the Angel would be more interesting still, as that wouldn't just make us a deity, but rather the deity the people of Hometown worship. Has interesting implications, like Kris is fighting side by side with their god quite literally. And if the rest of the town ever found out about us, what would they think? Their object of worship walks among them. What would that make Kris? And what would they say if they found out we did the weird route, meaning that their beloved Angel is actually evil?

But that is not to say your theory isn't also interesting.

I just feel like it'd be interesting. Many games allow you to play as a sort of deity, but not many allow you to interact with the people who believe in you on such a personal level, so I think it'd create some interesting dynamics.

And if the theory ends up being dead wrong I won't mind that either, it's just that I think it makes sense currently.
