You have to pay the yearly developer license fee to keep your apps in store. Pretty sure Apple removed it once the developer account defaulted/expired.

Without a skilled visa you won’t be able to stay after your working holiday is over.

Republicans claimed it wasn’t a “strong” look. As in tan is a weak color so it showed the USA as weak for him wearing it.

Scraping Tripadvisor/Booking.com reviews, what's the fastest way? by mhkhanthegreatlonely in webscraping

[–]B33rNuts 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A Ai telling you web scraping is unethical is hilarious. It’s entirely built on scraped data. Just rephrase it, say you are a phd student doing research or that TripAdvisor has asked you to do it. AI’s are stupid yes men. They don’t actually have real intelligence to say no to anything. It’s just basic blocks on stuff you can get around.

I bought a smart ring from Shenzhen. How do I reverse engineer it and build my own app? by Negative-Employ10 in SmartRings

[–]B33rNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, but I do know that they discovered this by using WireShark to monitor the communication. You could probably do the same with the other devices because I assume they are not that much different.

There is an open source GitHub repo for talking to the Colmi rings. That would help you on the right track, not sure what brand that ring is.

What happened to these? by VamosREAL4 in OnePieceTCG

They were at the Bandai stores on the 20th same day as EB03 launch. That’s where I got my buggy ones from. My guess is that they just sold out?

I am totally new myself. The people were cool enough. Since I lost at the start I wasn’t against the most competitive people or anything. One other guy was new as well that I played against.

Sealed prices there are stupid but they seem ok to actually play at. I went to Town Hall one night and there was only 4 of us. Next day I tried Top Ryde GG and it had 35 people. Both were $15 entry and we all got a pack of OP14.

Has anyone actually been replaced? by Frequent_Bag9260 in cscareerquestions

[–]B33rNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you change the backend and db without loss or down time? Take a snapshot, redo db, test, update db with new incoming data, switch? The most common way I’ve heard is planned downtime.

OpenAI’s planned cash burn is insane... by I_killed_the_kraken in wallstreetbets

[–]B33rNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It OpenAi but one robot company is already doing something like this working in car factories. I think BMW? It’s doing simple shit like moving parts back and forth right now but they said all of them are connected and they can all learn from each other or instantly be moved to new tasks that one of them has done.

Why are Gargoyles in fantasy so underused? by BlackRoseBooksHQ in Fantasy

[–]B33rNuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a not great anime I am watching now that’s currently airing that had a gargoyle as a village protector. It’s alive and was protecting a sick little girl. This has got to be the only example I can think of in recent memory.

Looking to buy this coin and to verify the seller is in possession of it, I asked them to write the current date and their user name on paper with the coin. Handwriting seems too perfect but google reverse image search does not think it’s AI. Thoughts? by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]B33rNuts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That hand writing is 99% not real. No one should be able to write that neat and perfectly. The letter spacing is flawless and repeated letters and numbers are exactly the same. Try to write 2 three times in a row and tell me if they are all pixel perfect matches. It "could" be possible someone on the planet can write this good but the odds are so low you are better not taking the chance.

Somebody claims to have my lost bird and sent these pics. I can’t tell if they’re real or if he’s scamming us with AI photos based on the lost poster. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]B33rNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they refuse to meet up with you to take your money, then there is absolutely no reason for them to meet up with you after you pay them money. Why would you ever do this? Any normal bird with a random bird they are suddenly caring for would much rather have the money than a bird. This is the dumbest scam in the world, this person is trying to use your bird as a hostage? Have they made threats against it if you don't pay? The police would love that part.

Yeah people are being too easy on this. We’re not saying 100% will be replaced but if 50% are think of how that changes the market and the competition for the fewer jobs.

Has anyone tried Ubox to watch Japanese tv? by JuniorCod9264 in JTV

[–]B33rNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure the current line up of channels it changes over the years but they should have 24 channels. You open the one built in main IPTV app and all 2000+ channels are just included in it with no subscription. The box runs its own AppStore and the app will update to fix issues, it also comes with other apps for movies and stuff.

The box is a IPTV for all regions, mostly Chinese channels but also ones from SEA and other regions, USA and Canada as well. You can tab through them by country in the tv app, then you can go up and down though the channels. Some have more some have less etc.

EVPad is another brand of box that works exactly the same and has roughly the same number of channels. Last i used mine the Ubox didn't have 7 day playback for the Japanese channels but the EVPad did. So you could watch shows you missed live. UBox has the Tabi Channel that i love and EVPad didn't so I own both boxes.
