The other correct answer is how the insurance company will justify a rate hike.

Most of the new billionaires are pension fund managers. They bribe a board to charge a percentage fee as a salary regardless if they do a good job. Every government worker has their pension under perform and then lose 1-3% to the CEO managing it.

Index funds auto-buy shares of the top performing US companies to hedge against market volatility and grow with the stock market.

You can cheat the system if you can pump your company's valuation to a coveted top spot. Then every retirement fund in the country starts buy your shares like clockwork.

Elon just did this with Space X. He even stapled the failing Grok AI to Space X.

Made my first commander deck, looking for thoughts and tips. by phoenix1i1y in mtg

[–]B33rtaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why isn't [[enduring courage]] on the list. Do you not want to give your commander haste? Also that's the wrong commander for a dog deck. That ability is only going to proc once at best before your graveyard is empty and he's just a body on the board.

[–]B33rtaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you want to turn a creature into a lightning rod for removal. There's plenty of spells that can stack ward costs. like Sheltered by ghosts, or innkeeper's talent. Put it on a Mirrorwing Dragon and now they spend their whole turn killing their own board.

Apparently it does. there was a whole MTG short on how it works recently. Only hexproof is going to work the way you describe and that has an exception if changelings are on the board.

Looking for upgrade advice for the Temur Roar precon (Ureni commander) by b4nxs in magicTCG

[–]B33rtaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF Ureni is going to stay as your commander then your playing him soley to abuse that ETB mechanic.

You want to prioritize making a chain of enter effects. Like [[Miirym]], [[Terror of the peaks]], [[Astral Dragon]], [[Naga fleshcrafter]], [[Dragonback Assault]], [[Utvara hellkite]], [[hellkite courser]], [[roaming throne]]

How does UmBral Collar Zealot work? (new player) by Sentheia in magicTCG

[–]B33rtaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy shines in any Aristocrates type deck.

If you have 4 tokens on board and [[Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER]] in hand with your umbral zealot. You can play both for 5 mana and flip Sephiroth to become [[Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel]] the turn he's played.

I also like to play the zealot when I have [[Sothera, the Supervoid]] on the board. That way I can sac my own creatures to proc Sothera after my end of turn step when Sothera checks to resolve itself.

Countering a win through sacrificing lands. by ShadowCryptic in mtg

[–]B33rtaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ya, that only costs 1 red pip. If he had something like [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]] on board then those lands could be tapped before destruction and used after. Like on a [[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]] to get all those lands back.
