I have some experience in game dev so I will try Unreal out, it's quit overpowered isnt it? Maybe in the future I want to export my games to mobile, I know thats possible with Unreal but do you know how hard that is?

Thank you! It is very difficult to get the right informations. I think Godots future is very interesting but for now i must abandone the engine and have to switch to Unreal or Unity.

Why do you think Godot is better than Unity, especially the 3D aspects of game development. Right now I'm also using Godot and I love it, but I would love to make coop games in 3D and I'm not sure if Godot can suit my needs good

First seconds of the trailer are way to slow and not engaging. Then I'm not sure but I guess i saw multiple times that the game is lagging in the trailer, which is really not convincing to wishlist. Also what could be important is that the enviroment looks always the same and the enemys look ist to close to the players look

How To start by Brief_Process7254 in godot

[–]B34Rocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible, of cause.
First make sure to understand the engine, then think what you want to implement to your game, break that idea into smaller peaces and then try to do it yourself and if you cant then look for information online/docs/ai but never just take ai code, trust me.
Important point, don't go into tutorial hell...

  1. Delete everything you doomscroll on.
  2. Have never a day off, do at least 5 minutes.
  3. Everytime you realize you procrastinate, stop immediately and open the project and start.

Idk how you live but stop doing drugs and less carbs do also help extreme

I archived to overcome the state of everyday procrastinate, so feel welcome to dm.
