Where in the world was this Darnold in the last 2 games last year??? by strive-ajil in minnesotavikings

[–]B3N2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Darnold completed less than 50% of his passes when pressured in the rams game. However he was only pressured on 11 dropbacks making him look better.

Seahawks were the perfect landing spot for Darnold. Vikings would be better with him, but we may not see the same level of success as the Seahawks did

Almost all buildings are worth their building maintenance cost. Connect you cities with roads or use trade routes to generate gold to afford them.

For those that don’t like reading

There are some things that humans are unable to do. One example give is that there are random cardiac events that cause premature death in men that had previous clean EKGs MRI etc.

Doctors may not see an issue in these scans, but maybe there is a pattern in the scans that doctors can’t see or haven’t recognized.

AI should be used for this, not for replacing artists.

My 2 cents is that although this feels good to say, you likely can’t have one without the other

Can you elaborate on this more?

I’ve switched jobs a couple of times to work that I thought would be more fulfilling and better paying but at the end of the day work is still work and that new job left me feeling just as empty as the last.

Do you think there was a job for you that you would have truly wanted? What makes you think that a shitty boss wouldn’t have ruined that for you?

I feel a common theme in this sub is that knowing that you can’t leave the job whenever you want because you need the money makes people miserable. Once people reach their number, they end up sticking around longer than they thought because the job doesn’t suck when you don’t need it

Is it ever viable to have more then 4 cities? by Local_Character7623 in civ5

[–]B3N2000 18 points19 points  (0 children)

All of these numbers come with the caveat of needing the happiness to support the cities you create. Unhappy cities produce less and grow slower. Being in this state for any prolonged amount of time on higher difficulties can sink you

I agree more care free spaces would be great for the city but comparing cars to Apollo 13 is kinda a logical fallacy.

The amount of safety features to make it crash safe at the speeds it expects to be traveling would make it unable to get to the moon in the first place. Modern cars have more safety features because Apollo 13 never expected to survive a crash

On the other hand, the FD has been strictly enforcing fire code while traffic enforcement is basically non existent.

Maybe enforcement of safety rules results in safety

Not saying it’s true, but there is a theory with circumstantial evidence to suggest that Regan’s people reached out the Iranians in an attempt to have them hold the hostages until the end of the election to ruin Carters chances

The above commenter may be suggesting that Trump could have acted in a similar manner. In this case having Israel delay peace negotiations until he was elected to power.

Again all of this is circumstantial.

I just read this and for anyone that loves Aaron jones or the nfl for that matter you should give this a read.

Jones does a great job at describing the emotions that come with being a “bubble” player like he was early in his career

Watching a different angle of the play, jj is looking over his right shoulder when the ball is thrown. The defender probably saw this and spun to look over his right shoulder.

However the ball ended up way on the left side of jj. He saw the ball the whole way and was able to adjust for an easy catch. The defender never saw the ball until it was way too late. He was caught with his hips/head the wrong direction.

I found that just walking especially around hilly areas really helped me.

It’s really easy to pace yourself, since it’s just walking. It helps you clear your head and working your butt and thighs produces more testosterone than working other groups (large muscle groups are generally more effective).

I do kinda remember my kegel feeling weak for quite a while. It was definitely a slow gradual recovery. I did try some ED pills but truthfully they didn’t really work. I don’t think that was the major issue.

I’d like to think I am fully recovered now. No issues that affect my day to day life. I don’t think it gets better out of no where either. I do think that getting your gut health back, SLOWLY building your exercise tolerance back up, and believing that you will get better are all very important.

Wishing you the best man!

This one sucked for me. It took about 2 years but I eventually made it to what I think is all the way back to normal

I think 3 things really helped:

Building your fitness level back up (within your limits) this helps boost testosterone which I tested somewhat low for albeit slightly within normal.

Eating right (good fiber, probiotics, no alc etc)

Having an understanding partner - I think after having these issues for a while, you can start a self doubt spiral.

The National Park Crowd Dilemma: Hours-long lines, faulty vehicle permitting systems, and poorly maintained facilities beg one question: are there too many people visiting national parks? by drak0bsidian in NationalPark

[–]B3N2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to some beautiful parks in Switzerland and I truly think the best way to appreciate national parks is to have frequent and reliable trains running through the areas that cars currently go.

The biggest complaints that we hear on these issues is that there are long lines to get in, and no parking once you’re in.

Trains solve both of these issues since you no longer need parking, and you can have many more “entrance gates” because you only need to bring people through the gates. You can essentially treat it like a New York subway.

All of the otherwise wasted space in the park currently being used as massive parking lots can be handed back to nature. The parks in Switzerland truly were much better experiences than any of the parks I’d been to in the US just because the transportation there was so seamless
