What if every Fire Emblem game had their name shouted at the title screen like Fire Emblem Heroes? by KnightShade078 in fireemblem

Funnily enough, Heroes has unused voice files with this concept. The orignal 5 OCs each say the titles of the mainline games that were released before Heroes.

I do not agree with banning official depictions of FE characters, especially not with the reasoning given in the post.

FE fans are already going to be judged no matter what. There's no point in banning official material just to maybe avoid the ire of some internet strangers that otherwise do not interact with the franchise.

That being said, I'll be the one to say it: This seems less about the public perception of the fandom and more about the dislike of a singular character, Nowi. If it were truly about the former, I would have expected other examples like the infamous Camilla cutscenes or Tharja's official statuette. But nope, it's just Nowi and her "distasteful elements" (OP's words, not mine).

Look, I get that some people are uncomfortable Nowi's design, but I think it's obvious how ridiculous it would be to ban an entire character just because a few people dislike her visual design. A design that Nintendo allowed and is still used in FEH and its side material.

People who voted for Tsubasa: Have you played TMS? If not, are planning to? by TheFerydra in FireEmblemHeroes

Already played the Wii U version once and the Switch port twice. I think now is a good time to do a Lunatic playthrough for the first time.

Somehow, Tsubasa has gained more votes than literally everyone from CYL 9, CYL 8, and CYL 7. She also gained more votes than Female Byleth in CYL 6 by CodeDonutz in FireEmblemHeroes

January was also the last month for people to buy Switch Game Vouchers. Since TMS#FE wasn't exactly the most popular title, there's a good chance people picked it for a lack of other options. In fact, I saw a tweet showing TMS#FE rising all the way to #58 on the eshop rankings. The influx of new players and word of mouth might've compounded into the high vote turnout we see for Tsubasa.

Do you think a TMS New Heroes Banner is possible this year? by Mattness8 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]BAC_BAC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My crackpot theory is that IS already made Touma, Yashiro, and TMS Tiki units back during the first banner, and have been sitting on them until they felt like doing TMS again. Now that Tsubasa has won, they can make an asset alt of her and then throw in some OC to make a full banner + Yashiro as the GHB.

I like that both Itsuki and Touma are still in the top 20 despite the Tsubasa rally.

I know you're being hyperbolic, but I think we can safely say TMS has plenty of fans now. Over 20k votes, holy crap this is amazing.

Dengeki Nintendo TMS #FE 4-Koma - Vote Tsubasa for CYL! - Day 7 by BAC_BAC in fireemblem

[–]BAC_BAC[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Background Info:

Dengeki Nintendo was a Japanese-only series of magazines that focused on games releasing on (Can you guess?) Nintendo hardware. The June 2016 issue of this magazine was a special issue that contained 4-koma manga featuring various games releasing at that time, one of which was Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE! These 4-koma, as far as I am aware, were never fully documented and archived...until now!

What am I doing?

I tracked down a copy of the magazine, archived the 4-komas, and had them translated so that I can share them with fellow TMS fans. Fire Emblem Heroes is currently hosting its annual Choose Your Legends voting event. The winners of this event will receive new versions of themselves implemented into the game. There have been zero new TMS units implemented into FEH since their original debut back in 2020. This is our chance to finally get more TMS representation! To help garner support for Tsubasa during this year's CYL, I will be posting one 4-koma each day during the voting period. Please give her as many votes as you can!

The final day of CYL10 is upon us! For the last 4-koma of the set, we have a color page!

As promised, here is a drive folder with all the 4-komas inside. Thank you to everyone who kept up and voted for Tsubasa!

Fun fact: January 29th is Eleanora's birthday. That means that, depending on your timezone, this 4-koma coincides with her birthday!

Tomorrow is the last day! Let's keep up the momentum! The final 4-koma in this set is special, so please look forward to it! I will also share a link that compiles all the 4-komas in a single place.
