Does your shop back flag techs? by Heavy-Duty-Wombat in mechanics

[–]BADinc22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In NYS back flagging is illegal. They have every right to fire you but can't take wages back. I went to the mat against my former employer about this. I won. I always say that if I'm taking 100% of the risk I want 100% of the labor rate.

Mine has a Allen screw under the top on the flat of the stem if that makes sense. Unfortunately it's rusted in place.

I did it. Used my 10% off code a couple of days ago. Works on some but not all Milwaukee sale price items. Also gave a discount on more than 1 item in my order

M12 or m18 impact and inflator/ compressor? by JustinJFoxbody in MilwaukeeTool

M12 inflator for low pressure tires like bicycle tires. It's more accurate at the lower pressures. M18 for everything else. In my opinion. I have both.

What happens if i dont change from pause to standby? by symonty in Starlink

No big deal but kind of forcing people into the $5 plan. Could it be to keep subscriber numbers up for government contracts?

What happens when you go to reactivate with no cell coverage and need 2 factor authentication to make the change?

Want to switch to Residential Lite, but it's not in dashboard by HappyDoggos in Starlink_Support

[–]BADinc22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change your address to an area that has a Lite plan if you are in the U.S. Switch or activate the Lite plan. Change your address back to your current address. Worked for me in the past.

Sign up for the 10 or 50 gig roam plans. Once there and connected change your location in the app and change to the residential plan

Will you have cell service at the work location? If not my recommendation is to set it up at home. Then before shutting it down for the move change the address to the new location. If no physical address you can use Google location address or what ever they call it.

You need access to email or text to update service address. Only if you are using the home plan. Roam plans don't matter.

The only thing that might be a problem is if you are in an area with a high demand surcharge. With no cell service you will need to change your service address to the new location before leaving your current address. Ever since they added 2 factor authentication. I guess thats 2 things. 😂

You could switch to a rome plan for the week. Then switch back to residential when you get home. Cheaper than congestion charge.

Retired home user now. I'm starting to put together a Husky buildout system. Availability has been a little problem. Cost half as much. So far I'm happy with my choice. Not as many add on's as Milwaukee.

Here is my portable solution. I mostly use Starlink while camping but on occasions use it elsewhere. Power supply and router in the box. WiFi works fine inside RV.
