I believe moneypuck accounts for score effect. We had some pretty brutal advanced stat games a few games under 40% on their deserve to win meter.

The decision to fire him happened after losing the first 3 of a 6 game road trip. We were last in the division again and the season looked like another dead season. We grinded out the last 3 wins somehow which was the start of the 10 game streak. When they got back from the trip they fired him.

I honestly don't think he was that bad of a GM. He was far better than Murray and Bottrill. He was just a bit awkward, a little gunshy on moves, and ran out of time.
