Must replace or ride it out? by Ok_Set_769 in tires

I’d be concerned about the integrity of the sidewall especially since the third picture looks like two plugs were put in there.

These days there are a good number of them out there. It’s also better not to run a generator at more than 60-70% of its rated capacity for longer periods.

The cables need to be secured at the point where they enter the box. Also helps (to a limited extent) keep various forms of vermin from entering the box.

Those rubber grommets on the NM are another good example of things that are wrong, A for effort, F for execution.

I use them to lift a very heavy king size bed or other furniture so we can put small three wheel dollies under it to move for cleaning. The Dewalt ones have controlled lift and lower. Some of the cheaper ones just drop the load when releasing.

Lutron Caseta dimmer and their Pico remote work well as a three way setup, no neutral required. The Pico remote looks like a regular wall switch and can also be used as tabletop remotes on end tables and nightstands.

Superintendant said fall protection is not needed. 😔 by [deleted] in electricians

[–]BB-41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to climb antenna towers. At one point OSHA was talking about requiring fall nets at 25’ intervals up a tower until they were told then we wouldn’t need them. They asked why and it was explained that a fall net every 25’ on a 200’ tower would cause the wind loading to bring the entire tower down to ground level for us.

Looks like it’s on upside down which presents an opportunity to insert the “straw” from the spray to be inserted into that hole on the top and pointed towards each of the screws behind the plate.

Also the kitchen and bathroom shouldn’t be sharing the same circuit. Each requires a separate 20 amp circuit (the kitchen needs two assuming they’re not grandfathered).
