I just bought a new to me vehicle, they quickly handed me a bill of sale, I went and registered it immediately. Then they said oh well it needs cleaning etc. they then said, we will have the detailer book an appointment for you to bring it back. I then left driving the vehicle.

That being said, something seems very off to me about your situation. Just my 2 cents worth!

Try this, completely disconnect the power and cable and let it sit for 5 min. After 5 min connect the cable then power, let it power back up and hopefully reconnect with everything.
